Have you ever had a Senior Trip? Like, the entire class goes to a place for a day, and possibly spend the weekend over in the area for a weekend or so? I have, back in May, my entire class went to the Wisconsin Dells for about 4 days. It was one of the most fun times I ever had in my life, I'll tell you that much. I wish I could do it again, though..

There was something planned for one of the High Schools I went to. But, it was part of the Senior Package, and the price was outrageous. You had to pay for it your Junior year, and then you had be eligible your Senior year. Like, they wouldn't even tell you the eligibility requirements your Junior year. You had to wait until your Senior year rolled around to see if you were going to be able to do anything. And if you were not eligible, they would not give you a refund for that activity, stating that "It's your fault for not qualifying for this activity."

Thank goodness I graduated a semester early, so I did not have to put up with all of that crap.

Hell yes I have had a Senior Trip! My whole class in high school went to Six Flags one day. I mean I've been a whole bunch of times, but this time was definitely the most fun. We were only a week or so away from graduating high school, and all of us just had the time of our lives. I remember I kept track of how many times a rode a roller coaster. I know I rode every single one in the whole park at least 3 times. I think the number came out to like 30 or something like that...something ridiculous. Man, I had an interesting night that night...I lay down in my bed and I still felt like I was on a roller coaster. It definitely was NOT a good feeling at all.

Yup. I had a senior trip to NYC (to a giant mass full of Catholic HS students) and then walked around the city for a bit.

I also had senior week, in which the entire Senior class traveled to Great Adventure (which was good because I rode El Toro and Green Lantern but King Da Ka was closed), a Yankees game (in which they got embarrassed by the Twins), and some place where you got food and played on a basketball and volleyball court (forgot the name of the place).

I think most high schools have a senior trip, don't they?  All the schools I attended (four high schools) and the one school I taught at.... all of them had a senior trip anyways.  To be honest though, I never even considered going. First, it was too pricey.  Second, my parents were worry-worts and never would have allowed it.  Thirdly, I wasn't social and didn't have any friends anyways.

It was so unimportant to me that I can't even remember where anybody went, either.

What did you do while you were on your trip?  How costly was it?

I will be a senior this upcoming school year, so I have not yet experienced a senior trip, but I will have one available. Unluckily for me, the senior trip is usually planned for an amusement park, and I hate roller coasters. I am hoping they end up deciding to go to a water park, or something else, otherwise I will probably just stay home. The price is also a factor. I have no idea how much the trip is going to be, and if it's too high I probably won't be able to go anyway.

This past year there weren't any special trips for seniors.

We did have a senior retreat for a day, but each grade level had their own, so it might not qualify. We did go canoeing, rock climbing, and swimming during this retreat, among other things.

There was also this trip to the mall for lunch, but if I remember correctly, the sophomore class tagged along. =/

We did get more privileges and freedom during the school day and a bunch of school activities that were just for us. So all in all, I can't complain.

But my favorite part of senior year? Graduating.

It's just so great to be done with high school.

pacman1755 : I didn't go on the trip last year but my school went up to Vermont for a weekend of skiing. I would have gone if it wasn't so expensive.
