I skype way too much now, because I am on the road of twitch. It's what I do to make an appearance. And without skype, my twitch channel would suck. Just saying.

I use it practically everyday either to chat with friends for fun or when we're gaming. I'm usually always logged on and I mostly always do voice chat. I don't like video chatting when I don't have to. Although I'm never included in the exclusive group chats which makes blub sad.

I used skype for the first time last night, it was okay but since I don't have a microphone or camera it was basically a chat room where I could see and hear everyone else.  I had fun though so I'm trying to get a mic today and maybe a camera if I can afford it.

I have a skype account but I rarely use it. If I do it's mainly for talking with Real life friends occasionally when playing a game on my pc (luckily my laptop has a built in microphone) though I can occasionally use it to talk with people online as well. Though I usually try to refrain from using it regularly as I'm more comfortable communicating by text chatting.

Not long ago there was this idea of having a mega chat that was always open (I hate these because of reasons outside the scope of this thread) and whenever we were playing a game we could just start a group call and go. The problem was that people started inviting others to this chat, others who didn't know half the people there, and because it's skype and you're supposed to know everyone there, there was just a constant, "Who is that? Who's friend are they?" Blah blah blah. It got really annoying so we stopped doing that. I'm actually thinking of setting up a ventrillo server or something so we can get away from that horrible program but I don't know if it's worth it.

I go on Skype 3 times a week. Though, if it was summer I'd hop on everyday. I had Skype for about 5 years now, I think? I don't know. I usually role-play or watch my friends reactions to YouTube videos I send them via chat. Sometimes, I'll just chat with them, if they need someone to talk to.
