Tomorrow I am going to be starting my new summer youth job and I guess I am a bit excited. I chose to work at a hardware store out of all the jobs that were on the list because it's about a mile away from my house. I have to start at 9 tomorrow and I will probably leave at 2 PM.

Do you have any work for the summer to get you buy if you are still in school?

Well I am a CIT (Counselor in Training) at Stony Brook Summer Camp. Basically, I do exactly what the counselors do, but I don't get paid It is still tons of fun though. I have a lot of friends there that are also CITs, and I love my little campers.

let me understand this well, you're doing a part time job?

Well, the first 2 days of work were amazing. Day 1 was great and day 2 was so much better. My first day involved playing with the dog that belongs to my boss, he's one of the things that was able to keep me going throughout the day and I had plenty of time to play with him. Also, I learned how to repair window , which I nailed on the first try and now I love doing this.


Day 2 was even better, I repaired another screen and we I also learned how to repair windows by removing the glass and how to put in new glass into a frame. Also, my boss asked already said she is starting to sonsider keeping me once the summer ends even though I was juet there for 2 days. Lastly, I made my 1st tip today, a whole 2 dollars that I used to buy much Gatorade.
