So.....the first episode of sailor moon crystal came out today. So how did you feel about it when you watched it? Here are my feels for it. Loved the graphics in a way to fit it, though it is much different from the original. The song was good. The ending song was great. The one thing I didn't like was the transformation music. Sorry to say. It was too much into... the precure style transformation. I hope for them to have the original but to make it a bit different. But you may have different views about it and such. I really did enjoy the episode as a whole. The voice for usagi was great same for the other characters as well. I looked forward to meeting mamoru and as always hes dead drop handsome. I picked up the differences of the episode from the original, but the similarity is still there. I think this new anime has made a great start, and I look forward to meeting the others and such. ^^

I also would like to point out that I loved the wallpapers that they showed. so...yeah I'm going to find a way to get it. ^-^

So it really is different than the original?  I confess I haven't seen much of the original, and didn't like it much back when I was younger (I was part of the generation that loved to poke fun at Barney, Power Rangers, and shows such as Sailor Moon).  I hated it mostly just to fit in, but now that I'm watching it, I like it!  I find it somewhat goofy and over-the-top, but I think it was meant to be that way.  I feel it takes itself a little too seriously, though.  Batman: The Brave and the Bold is among my favorite TV shows because it rarely takes itself seriously, except when it counts.  I really hope to see Usagi develop as a character as the show progresses.
