This month's Speed Run competition is for 'Jaws' for the Nintendo NES. You can play it here:

The point of this competition is to beat the game as fast as you can. Any submissions that take longer than 15 minutes will not count.


VIDEO REQUIRED: You must post a video of yourself accomplishing the score you submit. You must use the RGR Plugin's built in video recording capabilities. The video submission has to be a single video, it cannot be broken into parts so if you recorded it in parts, be sure to merge them into a single video.

RULES: You MUST play the game using the RGR Plugin in 'Timetrial Mode' and take a screenshot of the ending screen by pressing F6 when you've completed the game. To play in 'Timetrial Mode', scroll down the page where it shows the Speed Runs, you'll see a link that says 'Click Here to Compete for Speed Run', click that. Once you've taken your screenshot, click the link near that one that says 'Click Here to Submit your Speed Run' to submit your speed run. The video must be uploaded to the vizzed youtube account. The video submission has to be a single video, it cannot be broken into parts.

You cannot cheat or use glitches of any sort.

Davideo7 : I may try this, but I have never played this game before so I might be too awful to do it quickly.

Davideo7 : can't enter comp because I can't upload screenshots, highscores or speed runs anymore   

One of the shortest games to play if you knew what you were doing. This game is actually based off of Jaws 4.

Azul Fria : I didn't know there were 4 Jaws movies, wow lol. It's surprisingly tough to come up with games that are short enough to beat in less than 15 minutes.

UFC : Have you tried using Internet Explorer?

I am so bad at speed runs, but if van is the only one that enters then I will give it a shot lol.

Davideo7 : yeah it doesn't work on that either, I tried retrieving on my other account that has nothing on it and for some reason that one has all my screenshots and speed runs and high scores etc but this one cant access the same stuff or upload it.

UFC : I'll give an example of how the Plugin works (it's all based on IE).

If you are logged into the site with Account A in IE and then you take a screenshot with Account B in FF, the screenshot will be added to the Account A account.

Davideo7 : the screenshots and other stuff were added and taken with this account, however it seems that there is a glitch with this my account because even if the other account isn't logged on (which it never is) nothing shows up at all anytime on this account.

UFC : How many internet browsers do you have? Make sure you don't have any other user accounts signed into any of those internet browsers. If that doesn't help, try deleting all of the cookies of all of your internet browsers.

Davideo7 : Just deleted all cookie son both browsers and still no dice. I have no idea why this account is suddenly bugged all of a sudden, i'd ask if there was anything  a mod can do but i'm not sure they can help, unless there's some kind of account refresh or restore function you guys have.

UFC : Sounds like it might be something with your computer and not your account. Does saving work? Also, does this directory exist on your computer?

Davideo7 : yes that directory does exist within my computer and if I look in my snaps folder I can see the unretrieveable rockman and forte screenshots. So I know the screenshots are there, they are able to be retrieved on the account I don't use but on this account they can't be for some reason.   

UFC : What account is it that you don't use?

 Davideo7: The account is named BoJackson and it has nothing on it pretty much

UFC : Some how the RGR Plugin thinks you're still logged into that account (that's what I'm thinking anyway). I don't know what else to tell you

Davideo7 : arghh damn, what can I do? is there anything I can do?   

UFC : You could try reinstalling all of your internet browsers.

Davideo7 : maybe if you delete my other account there wont be any corrolation between the two and thing swill return to normal?
