The first anime I ever watched (and really got into, besides Pokémon), was Inuyasha. I remember spending some of my days in middle school looking up pictures of Inuyasha and the gang. I enjoyed the show but sadly never finished it. It's always been on my list, but I got distracted by other anime I started watching. Who knows, hopefully one day I'll finish it. :p

My first Anime was Pokémon but after 10 episodes I lost interests already, but some months later, the real first Anime that really got my attention was Dragonball Z.
I was on Youtube, and I saw the trailer for Dragonball Z Battle Of Gods.
I was thinking 'I want to watch the first episode...'
I watch it on youtube, after 3 Episodes I go on google and search for a site and found this: www.dragonballclub.com 
And that is when I've been watching DBZ A lot.

Believe it or not, it was Naruto. I think it was actually the episode where Zabuza finally dies. I made my sisters do a marathon with me, because only the first 20 episodes were in English on were On Demand for our cable, and all the episodes were going to expire the next day.

It was Digimon Tamers It's the first thing I did when i got from 56 Kbps speed to a higher one. it is pretty strange as to why I, of all the things that could be done instead, went for it as if I were being guided or something( Digimon Rumble Arena did partially influence me but I think I also had few dreams about digimon haha)

I'm not even sure myself since I started watching anime in adult swim in the middle of the night and I was young like 5 years old. Therefore it is pretty hard for me to recall whether it was Inuyasha, Yu Yu hakusho. But I believe before that my dad used to put DBZ in the middle of the day for me to entertain myself when he got annoyed of the voices in the kid's channel. So I think my guess will be DBZ. However, the anime that made me love anime and led me to become the anime lover that I am today is Inuyasha I re-watched it because it was the most memorable anime that I had memory of in my childhood and I wanted to find out why, never regretting that. 

The first anime that I ever saw and watched was Pokemon. Back In like 2005, I saw my first episode of pokemon. Of course this was not a new episode so I loved it, and I found out what is was and I started watching it. I really liked it, saw the first few episodes, and fell in love. When I got to the season 4, I realized that it wasn't that great anymore.

There were a lot of anime that I watched for the first time as a kid quite a few years ago, for me they were pokemon, dragon ball z and yugioh but I can't remember which one was first since I started watching all of them around the same time period. I really enjoyed watching them growing up as a kid and they have really left me with some fond memories...come to think of it, I have started watching a few of them recently...but since then I have watched, naruto shippuden, bleach, full metal alchemist, and most recently watamote. Overall I like and enjoy watching anime, and I spent a good portion of my childhood watching some of these anime. 

My first anime, not counting Pokemon, the original series, would probably be Bleach. Instantly got me interested in anime, and that got me to keep going with new stuff every time I finish.

My first anime was technically one of the Pokémon ones, forget which series, but my real first anime was Black Butler. I made the mistake of watching the dub first... You know they gave an American character an Australian voice actor? I switched to the sub when I realized that. The voice acting is so much better in the sub, it actually matches what you would expect to come out of the characters mouth. Not really big on watching anime though, only reason I looked this one up was to see the coloured version of Grell's costume (want to cos-play it eventually).

First anime for me was either Yu-Gi-Oh! or Naruto, dont remember which.

I remember I used to try to wake up early and watch yugioh, but always failed.

Then again, My mom said I used to watch hamtaro when I was younger so that may very well be the first I watched

Pokemon was my first anime too, but like others have said I didn't know what anime was. Then Yu-Gi-Oh!, but I still thought it was just a regular cartoon. Next was Avatar: The Last Airbender, and I still hadn't realized. I think my first real anime was Inuyasha, actually, on Adult Swim on Cartoon Network. Unfortunately, I don't remember the story much and only saw some random episodes. It's been on my list, but I usually skip over it for other animes. The first anime I watched for anime was Lucky Star, I think.

How could I forget Hamtaro? It may have been my first, and if not it was my second.

I'm not really a guy who watches Anime, but my first anime was Pokémon. A classic. The last time I've watch anime is when I watched this weird animal crossing anime a long time ago.

If I remember correctly, I'd say Gundam Wing, were the first anime i saw, but I consider first, Fullmetal Alchemist because, that was the one that introduced me to the hobby of anime.

My first was Yugioh but the first I ever finished was Fairy tail! It was awesome and I saw it on netflix which led me to SAO which is even better. It was worth it.

First anime I saw was Pokémon, then yu-gi-oh and I believe after that was inuyasha and the anime on adult swim on Saturday nights. Haha I miss watching anime on Saturday mornings and nights.

I honestly don't know if I saw pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh first, but either way I didn't know they were anime 'til later (thought by the time I did I was still watching Yu-Gi-Oh), and brought me into it? Don't watch much (so nothing really), just very, VERY well known mainstream stuff like Pokemon, Digimon, Dragon Ball (and anything that belongs to the franchise), and Yu-Gi-Oh, and its still been awhile since I've seen those.

EDIT: Apairently, acorrding to another user, Avatar: The Last Airbender is anime, so add that to the list (I'm also watching The Legend of Korra), and now thinking of it, Naruto, which I watch some of when it was on Cartoon Network, and then thats the first anime I watched that I realized was anime (halfly, because the title song was in japenese).

Hmmm lets see Yu-gi-oh wasn't on and I didn't care for it, Dragon ball Z I first saw on Nicktoons, and the Pokemon episodes I don't consider anime quality by the time I saw it and I think I wasn't much into it. I believe the first anime I saw was Sailor Moon. Decent show I guess I was about 6-9 when I watched back when I thought girls were icky. The only reason I watched it was because my sister took control of the Xbox 360 . But the anime that brought me into the world of anime was Transformers! I believe its an anime anyways my mom had a collectors set of the old cartoon series and I loved it and then there was Voltron. Those two took me into the world of anime. Derp I forgot how to remember things in order when I wrote this. I saw Voltron and Transformers first. 5 seconds later after the first 2 edits. Wait maybe I saw some random anime on adult swim. Never understood the plot what so ever don't remember when I watched it all I remember is sword fighting a bit and a lot of talking. And a guy in a red shirt who had cat ears in his hair. What was that called? I kind of wanna watch it to see if it's good not starting from some random episode.

I remember as a kid always being very fascinated by anime style cartoons (I think it was the eyes that really grabbed my attention).

I want to say either Pokemon or Digimon was the first anime I ever watched, but there were others that I'd check out once in a while just because they looked interesting to me (like Sailor Moon and Cardcaptor Sakura), and I can't remember which one I saw first exactly.

I will say that Pokemon is probably the one that really got me into anime. I kind of dropped Digimon after the first season.

First anime I watched was either Pokémon or Digimon. I don't remember which one it was but both are good animes in my opinion.
I also watched Yu-gi-oh and Beyblade when I was younger. Nowadays I'm watching Fairy Tail.
