Devil's Nightmare is the minigame that Mrfe and I created from scratch. Except you can hardly call it a minigame. It's currently a 10 level deathtrap. And it's finally open!

It's a fair combination of physical and mental challenges that will test you to your limits. It isn't unfairly difficult, and my own run-through of it (after practice) was 22 minutes.

Now for the challenge!

For the remainder of the month, you'll be doing a runthrough. You start on the outside of the challenge and record your gameplay until you finish.

Your starting and finishing screens will look like this:

The Prizes

1st Place (fastest time) - 25,000 Viz or MViz
2nd Place - 15,000 Viz or MViz
3rd Place - 5,000 Viz or MViz
Completion of Course - 2,500 Viz or MViz (Doesn’t necessarily require a recording, just proof that you have gone through the course and finished)
Proof of Attempt - 1000 Viz or MViz (Participation, yo)

Other Notes and Rules

- Getting to the minigame is an adventure in itself. This is where it is located on the Vizzed Map.

- Don’t bring any items with you. You’ll lose them if you do.

- If you don't want to post your video here, PM the link to me, EideticMemory. You will then just post your time here

- One Video, not Multiple. (Unless it's several hours long, which is unlikely)

- Because of the difficulty, we will be starting the time from the last death.

- You can record with software like Camtasia (which has a 30 day free trial). It’s pretty lag-free from my own experience. Turning down graphic settings and closing extra programs might help.

- Whether or not you can handle recording, it’s a really fun game. Check it out!

Oh I'm going to enjoy playing through that "deathtrap dungeon". I'll do my best, even though I know it won't probably go well with my playthrough. Oh well, it will be fun and hopefully entertaining for you guys ha ha. That's my main goal actually, now if I can have a position on the podium, it will be AWESOME!!!

Silly question: if I record the playthrough, does the intro count in the time limit? Just making sure if I need to hurry up or take my time with my intro and my outro since I'm kinda talkative and I ramble too much

some of the things featured are the same terrors I plan for my tower, but i keep putting off the building due to boredom and building supply cost

also, the maze plan I planned was gonna be made of colorful pretty glass, and we all know how those mazes hurt, both physically (to your character) and mentally (to your mind)

We need to record going through it for the best timing?

Sadly, my internet access has been severely limited as of recently. However, I know that EM is 100% capable of running this and running it well. You all are in very capable hands XD

I just want to make sure everyone knows that, when posting a pic as proof that you finished the course, you must have that end sign as well as yourself in the picture. If one of those is not present, your pic is disqualified.

After the construction of the Iggyland - Devil's Nightmare bridge (Screenshot here). Getting to Devil's Nightmare won't be so much of a pain anymore. Ever after the competition, this bridge will getting to Devil's Nightmare much more easier.

Hey. I've gotten fairly adapt with this mini-game and should be able to send you my video soon. I take it we upload our video to our own youtube? If so, can we edit the video slightly with text over layers and a voice over? Or does it have to be raw?

Also, I always start my recordings from the first level, instead of outside the mini-game, because it is a million times faster. If the quit button didn't take me so far away from the civilization I wouldn't mind. Will you accept recordings starting from the first level?

You can start at the very start of the first level, that's fine. I'll see about having the quit being changed to bring you closer to the start.

Also, seems like you've been able to crack most, if not all, of the levels. Nice job.

Just letting you know that my playthrough will come soon. Eventually split into several parts. Yes, I did really bad but I'm now done with this and hopefully you will enjoy it. I'll put the link to the videos once I'm done with the upload. I'm now done with this mini-game and this contest. I know that the only purpose of my submission will definitely be entertainment only. My time can easily be beaten, oh well

Oh and I did swear as some points, devoured by the frustration within my body. Hopefully that won't hurt people. It happens when I'm frustrated.

Just so everyone else attempting has their fair share of challenge.

Well, my playthrough is now uploaded to my channel, in private mode, so you will get the link in just a few words. First things first, a bit of speech. So where to start?

- Devil's Nightmare is a torturous experience and, with the special thing (and I'm still wondering WHY I did that to myself), it became the descent into madness. In other words, I really enjoyed this and I'm looking forward to the next part.

- Yup, I watched by accident Darkpower508's playthrough but I still managed to make some unforgivable mistakes. Hopefully I'm not disqualified for this, otherwise well... be that way.

- I'm done with this mini-game for a while. No, no, I'm not going to retry and do better. No freaking way in hell! Over a hour of suffering just for you, folks! Deal with it! I had fun doing this so I hope you will stay alive, bear this flail like I did and have a fun time watching the video. My time can be beaten easily so screw the third place. My playthrough will probably be for entertainment only. Oh and by the way, I say "fast forward" at one point. In fact, it's a lie because it didn't take that long to come back where I screwed up and I think it's not considered as raw footage so yeah.

- I did swear at some points. I tried to watch my language for this video but I didn't succeed in doing it. So you will hear these cursing words and I'm really sorry in advance if that hurts some people. When I'm mad, angry and/or frustrated, my wrath makes me do silly and terrible things such as cursing.

- Obviously, Youtube found some copyrighted content (the opening of an anime I enjoyed watching at that time on TV... figures) and, even if the video is private, it can fade away forever at any moment. Or Youtube remove the sound. In any case, you'll see an ad because it's how the cookie crumbles nowadays. If the video has a problem, let me know and I'll re upload it.
