I want to join. However how does the timing of the tournaments work? I am currently doing a part time job which schedules me to work at random parts of the week and days. I do know however what times I can work a week ahead of time on every Friday.

I got 2 games that I would like to suggest, personally I would prefer they substituted either WWF since not only I found out it's not the game I thought it was, but also (like Jordan said) it's controls are clunky and feel really weird to play. The second game would be Final Match Tennis, mostly because half the games are sports titles and in my opinion it's the worst game out of the other sports games on the list.

It's an interesting game, even though it's very underrated. You basically have some minigames on Versus mode, with different objectives where players have to manipulate a sort of energy ball to assist them and using it against the opponents. The score system kinda works like Bomberman, so it's easy to get the hang of it.
It sounds weird on text but it's a cool game. you should check it out.

Street Racer for SNES - https://www.vizzed.com/playonlinegames/game.php?id=8550

It's a racing game that also has a variety of game modes, like Racing, Battle and even Soccer (Not entirely sure if this mode supports 4p, but I'm pretty sure it does too), all of that while in your cars. The game kinda feels like a Mario Kart game, except with a different approach graphically-wise, less fantasy and such. It's a nice game.

Davideo7 : Firestriker has a mode where the objective is to score points with the ball on the opposite team to win, along with a versus mode where you need to push the the opponents off a ledge to win.

As for Street Racer, I don't think it has an option for 2p teams.

If the only choices are games where 2v2 is an option then I doubt there are gonna be any options besides even more sports games (which I intentionally left out since half the games on the list are already sports games).

On a side note, the last tournament had titles without 2v2 in-game and it worked out perfectly, I can't see why lacking an in-game 2v2 option would be a problem, any specific reason for introducing this rule this time?

To be honest, the only game that I might be worried about though is WWF Raw. The controls are HORRIBLE. 

We now have 8 teams (15 once the searchers are assigned to teams) and 35 contestants so things are starting to look good for this competition now

I don't know if I'm posting in the wrong area or not, but would there be a way to watch as simply a spectator (although those people signed up would also be able to when not actually playing it, to check out competition and stuff)?


Edit: and maybe you could replace the wrestling game with something such as the Mario cart for the snes or Kirby's avalanche (snes) although avalanche is only 1 vs 1 if I remember correctly
