Greetings to everyone especially to Soul Calibur fans!

I have recently brought Soul Calibur 2 and received it yesterday through shipping. I played it and almost forgot how much fun it was. Speaking of which, I would like to discuss anything relating to the Soul Calibur series if anyone is willing to join me.

Here's something to start off: What is your favorite character in the Soul Calibur series and explain why?

Umm obviously yoshimitsu is the best character in any soul calibur game. Besides link in the GC version of SC2. Because yoshimitsu is so ridiculously hilarious

I really love using either Cassandra or Xianghua because of their fighting skills. And also they have good voices for girls as well. ^-^

ghostfishy : I can see that lol, shes great in combat especially when her sword turns into a snake like. That's the upper edge that's she has over her opponents. I've used her too, so I would know what you mean. ^-^

Another question: Who is your least favorite or hated character in the Soul Calibur series? Explain why.

Uhhh....mind If I can come in? I've bought soul caliber 3 and I find it more fun than the tekken series, each character is WAAAAY different than the others in many, many ways. And I like the fact that you can change your weapon to set the buffs/debuffs to your liking, I find that gold can finally REALLY be useful instead of just costume. And I like that you can make your own character and use it to play chronicle of the swords (did I spelled that right?).
My favorite character is "Mitsurugi", I mean in my opinion....what's better than a guy fighting with a katana and with a personality like that?

I am a big fan of the Soul Calibur series. It is my favorite fighting game so to answer your first question there is two character that I like they are Maxi and Kilik for me I like them because the first time I played it they were the only two character that I would go undefeated with so I would use them all the time. For the second question my least favorite and hated characters there are four that I don't like at all they are Lizardman because I could never really do anything with this character at all and Astaroth because he is slow and most of the time can get killed with only getting a few hits in if facing of again some fast attack enemies and my last two are Siegfried and Nightmare because there weapons or too big and it makes there attacks really slow.

I love Soul Calibur! I have Soul Calibur III and I used to have Soul Calibur II. In SC2, Necrid was always my favorite. He was probably the coolest looking and he was pretty strong. In SC3 I always use custom random characters (sometimes I like to choose ones I made though), but my other main is Yoshimitsu, Abyss, and sometimes Cervantes or Nightmare.

I only have 2 custom characters. One of them has all black unholy gear and punches enemies (he's really cool looking though), and the other... I don't remember what fighting style he has, but his name is Spectre and he's really creepy. But still really awesome.

My favorite character isn't exactly from Soul Calibur, he's name is Li Long and he is one of soul blade main characters but appears in SC3 as a special character.
What I like about this character the most is his story, avenging the supposed death of his lover. That and the fact that he fights with nun chucks.
 

Great! More people are pouring in and although I don't SC 2 to understand half of what's going on here, I'm still happy seeing many people here love this franchise (I wish that was the same in monster hunter and dark souls.....oh well).

Yeah....I like Maxi, as well as I can't stop listening to his list of voice test, it's probably one of the most hilarious in the game.

Underrated? Wow, for someone who loves fighting games, I thought that they might not play Tekken because Street Fighters seems different and faster, but you.....you like soul caliber games and have not played Tekken because it seems inferior to you? Never met anyone like that, but by all means, feel free to express what you think about both sides.

I have made one character and he's a "Thief", I don't know what's the name of his weapon but it looks like a curved blade....and I gatta say many of the moves of these weapon deals a lot of damage and in a very cheap way.
And my brother made one and it's a "Warrior", he may have a Great Sword but my thief always gets him off guard and removes a high amount of health in a short time.
What's our score? Probably I got the most by 4:1
