(please no advice or critisizms for gods sake)
this game is one of my favorite games ever it was a big part of my childhood:killing creatures,leveling up,getting equipment it was really fun well lets delve right in

GRAPHICS:
well the graphics are pretty bad but hey wadda expect its an rpg thats also on a genesis
but its still pretty good at the same time


SOUND:
my favorite part of the game was listening to new songs and thinking i was probobly in a lota trouble with enemies it was fun


ADDICTIVENESS:
very very very addictive its just crazy addictive it can be fustrating but i found myself not able to put down the controller i still don't know why but i can never stop playing this game

STORY:
your a kid going into a labyrnth how simple is that

DEPTH:
its pretty long i meen i never really got to beat it because it was so long

DIFFICULTY:
very difficult between a room full of enemies or overpowered ones its just rediculess

Overall I think this was a pretty decent review even though it was pretty short, you broke it down and talked about each part like you would with a normal review which is good. I would focus on being a little more descriptive in all of the areas of your review and talk about why you gave it the score you did and what was good or bad about that part of the game. Organization wise, you are good by splitting your review up into categories and making it easy to read. 

Just keep reviewing and if you talk about each category in depth, then word cont shouldn't be an issue. 

Great review I never played the game but it looks like Gauntlet which is one of my favorite games growing up I might just have to play this.

I liked this review, You broke it up and it was fun to read. I do reccomend working on grammar and Comma's tough.

But it was very very short. And I'm not trying to be rude. It was fun bot short. And you said no criticism? That's what it's all about!

kirbmanboggle : FYI you can't post a review on a website and not expect people to give their opinions on it. If you don't want people to comment on your reviews, then don't post them. Otherwise you should be open to suggestion/criticism.

As far as the review goes, its passable, but it needs work.

I'm confused about a few of your comments though. Like the graphics for example. In that rating you should rate them based on other genesis games released at the same time. Feels weird to say "what do you expect when it's an RPG on the Genesis" What does that even mean?

There are tons of great RPG's on the Genesis with good graphics for it's time. Ever played the Phantasy Star Series? Shining in the Darkness? Shining Force 1, or 2? Shadowrun? These are just a few that have pretty darn good graphics for the time.

Also I find it interesting when you say "It's a big part of my childhood" I mean you're 12, right? ;-)

I think you should go back and edit some parts. Saying something like "man this game really is addictive" isn't really what you should say in a review. You should go into a little more detail as to why the game is addictive.

The point of a review is to explain the game to a person who hasn't played it and convince them on why they SHOULD or SHOULDN'T start playing it.

You have me thinking about this game now. I haven't played Fatal Labyrinth in years, I think I will have to pop it in here in a little bit. I have a Genesis model 2 composite av that should be here today and that is a good enough excuse for me to play Fatal Labyrinth for a while.
