I got about 80% into the game and had just gotten Gasper to chronopolis, to advance the story and game at this point you need to use the Epoch 2. But when you go in the epoch 2 room you are automatically warped into the epoch instead of walking in the room right up to it and getting in. Then it automatically fades to black and the music is still playing but it's just an endless loop while there's a black screen. You can't beat the game without the epoch 2 so it's a fatal glitch and I don't know if it's fixable.

I've been working on this for the past 3 or so hours and I think I need you to re-upload a save state which is in the room before the glitch (and not on the file select screen).

I'm thinking the version I uploaded is incomplete, and I have a couple other versions I've been testing with the save state you posted.

From what I read, Flames of Eternity is supposed to be a completed version of Crimson Echoes.

It appears to load properly in the same spot in zsnes if you rename the save to Chrono Trigger - Flames of Eternity.zst and load up that rom on the RGR instead.


Edit: There is also an RC8 to be released soon for Flames of Eternity

tRIUNE : well the renamed save state is there, but no dice so far. Flames of eternity seems to be in place where crimson echoes was though so maybe that is why it isn't loading, do i somehow switch its position? If you take a quick look again at my c drive you probably can see th eproblem
