Blazing Saddles and Spaceballs are the two funniest movies of my childhood.  Airplane! was in there too and the humor style developed my expectations as life went on.  Movies like Ghostbusters and A League of their Own are good.

The Lego Movie is the wittiest, funniest movie I have ever seen.  It's loaded with tons of gags, and every single one is laugh-out loud funny.  I went into the movie expecting to be disappointed, but I came out having that movie as one of my top two movies of all time, if not my favorite.

maguc : Jim Carrey is a very funny guy... And i don't think "very funny" is enough to describe him. If he's in a movie, and in a comedy movie, then i will like it. It's almost guaranteed it.

Also, any comedy move that has Adam Sandler in it will make me laugh too... I really have to watch some movies one of these days.

The funniest movie I have ever seen is Bruce Almighty. It is the ONLY time I went to the movie theater, and EVERYBODY in theater was laughing at the same time. The part where Jim Carrey was controlling everything Steve Carell was saying when he was anchoring the news. Everyone in the movie theater wet themselves. It was THAT funny. Its definitely the funniest movie I have ever seen.
