I haven't been in the best of moods since my phone got rest everything lost and gone.....my poems was there everyone of them. I feel shattered in a way of not to carry on my poems anyone as I haven't been doing it. But,I was preparing one it was another thank you poem....I wasn't even finished with it. And it is gone. What is worse is that I can't remember the words I used, as I have short term memory. This is dragging me down badly. I want to give up doing my poems now. But what do you say to this? I say this because poems takes a lot of hard work to do. And to think of the rhymes and such. Its not easy to do but, yet you would be enjoying it....I wouldn't expect everyone to know or to remember, back when I did it. But for those who do remember, what do you say?

Eniitan : ohh I know the tough feeling behind losing something as tough and hard a poem, (happened to both a both and review of mine) and I'll share what I think about this. Honestly the way I see it is personally if you don't feel like making a poem again then don't force yourself to make a new one since it won't be natural when you write it, we understand that it was a unexpected tragedy and that we still are glad you thought of doing a poem anyway ^-^. If you do want to continue writing one then go for it, it may take a while but you can get things kicking if you do your best.

Even though everything was erased, I think you should keep going. Don't fret about the lost thank you poem. The people who would've received it would be even more thankful that you did it if you created a new one, even after you had lost everything.

Do you know the saying; "When one door closes, another one opens"?

I couldn't think of a better phrase that's best suited for this situation. Perhaps that you losing your previous poems is a sign of some sort. Yes, you may have lost your work, but would you want to waste that lost? Some people would use their losses as motivation to make themselves better. In this case, make yourself better poems.

You don't have to motivate yourself right away, of course. You can always take a little break from writing your poems if the loss is too much to bear right now. But when you get back to it, I'm sure you'll get back strong.

Enii, I know how you feel, you do a really hard work on something and then suddenly you time wasted is all lost, it seriously brings you down I know how it feels.

If you think you can redo some of them, go for it, or try to create new poems! If you need, take a little break from it, and then when you are better, go for it, but don't give up on poetry. :3

Do you enjoy doing them? If you don't theres not really any point.
If you enjoy making them then just make them at a pace you're comfortable with. Theres no time limit and poetry is meant to be reflective of your feelings anyway. Maybe you could use what you're feeling now to inspire another poem. To that end the loss could actualy be a good thing.
