I've made 3 updates for the Retro Game Room which will help draw in more users to watch the twitch streams of vizzed users.

1. Toward the top of the RGR index pages where the 'Twitch Streamers' link is, it'll now say how many users are streaming and that number will be in yellow so that it sticks out.

2. Down where it shows all the active netplay sessions on the RGR index page, it'll now show active Twitch Streams as well.

3. If you create a netplay session and stream it as well, there will be a big link under your netplay session on the netplay sessions page showing that you're streaming your netplay session.


These updates will hopefully bring more recognition to the live streams. Before, most users probably didn't visit the netplay stream page because they had no idea whether there would be an active stream on that page. Now that there's messages throughout the RGR letting you know when active streams are available, this should encourage more users to visit that page.

Keep in mind that if you go more than 30 days without streaming a game in the Retro Game Room, your channel will be removed from that page.

Davideo7 : My questions aren't really about the updates, but is the promotion where you get Viz for a certain amount of hours still exist? Or did that end long ago?

Also, does streaming from the Minecraft server count as well?

zanderlex : Those offers still exist. I suppose I would count Minecraft if it's taking place on the Vizzed Minecraft Server.

This might be a bit of a silly question, but would you also be willing to accommodate for people who may stream on Hitbox? (Or any other alternative streaming service. Hitbox is one I already have a small community on, so I figured I'd ask.)

Davideo7 : Maybe you could also add a feature where you can view twitch streams a user is doing via their profile(Not watch the stream but provide them with a list of streams they have going on and streams they finished then you can click a stream finished or going on and watch them) Just a thought
