All right, I am not sure if something exactly like this has been done before, but here goes nothing. This thread is designed so that people can recommend anime to me, and to each other. Post recent anime, old anime, great anime, underrated anime, or really any kind of anime you feel like. Please try to limit the number of recommendations. It would be nice to see the truly outstanding anime, and not have to pick and choose from another gigantic list. Anything under one hundred should be reasonable.

I will start off with a few:

1. Steins;Gate - Perfect if you want a sci-fi, comedy, horror mix.
2. Code Geass - Pretty good all-around. Nice if you want some action, and entertaining battles.
3. Darker Than Black - Pretty dark, but good action-oriented anime.
4. Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo - Happy, funny, but also sad. Lovable characters.
5. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood: Arguably better than the original adaptation. Darker than the original adaptation.

What do you recommend?

1. Angel Beats this anime is one of the saddest anime i have seen so far it's really sweet and will make you cry at some parts also has some funny parts because it can't all be sad right?
2. Higurashi every season+Movie is an awesome Pschological Horror and Mystery and somewhat tramatising this will get you freaked out and laugh cry i would really reccomend this if your really good without being creeped out the first season because it does get progressively happier.
3. Btooom! is pretty Action packed and is about a game coming to life is like the Hunger Games in a way.
4. Attack On Titan well i guess you can pretty tell what it's about from the title it's Action filled Survival.
I have so many more but i would love to see what others have to say

Hamtaro. Hamtaro is a wonderful anime about hamsters Hamtaro has 107 episodes

Also, Blazblue:Alter Memory. it's based off of this uh, thingy... a game. a fighting game. I make it sound lame but it's actually awesome.

Hamtaro is totally better than blazblue by the way
