I'm thinking about recreating Noah's Ark on the Vizzed Minecraft server, if anyone is interested in helping out, let me know. We'd populate it with all the different animal types in Minecraft.

I'd probably base it off of Answers In Genesis's model:




They provide the dimensions and probably have the most accurate designs. What I might do is create a football field and use that as a reference and build the ark on that. Once finished, I'd use WorldEdit to cut the ark and then paste it on to a huge body of water. Or to be funny, I could build it on land and then flood the entire area so that it ends up being on water.

To take things a little further, I could do a time lapse of it being put together and then submit the video if it being build on YouTube. If I did this, I'd of course need to find or create a Noah skin and skins to represent his son's as well (which would be anyone who helps me out).

You might want to give people an actual reason to go there, though I can't think of anything that would help with that. Also, why not give it a personal flair to make it more yours; you're making it, so you have all artistic license to change it however you like. You can make it look far more epic.

I'd like to help. I've never done that though so it'll be a first. As I always said, the buildings I like to create are mostly dungeons with traps, puzzles and creatures. Then the houses and cities come, which is not my speciality and finally other stuff such as a replica of Noah's Ark. However, it could a great experience for me.

On Tuesdays and Wednesdays I'm available anytime from noonish-4pm CT. Also, I'm available on all three days anytime after 10pm CT for the entire night. Thursdays, I'm open from about 2-5pm CT, and anytime after 7pm CT generally. I can be flexible, and make mornings work if needed/wanted.

During my afternoon, I record my daily video and making it but, for this project, I can make an exception and work on my videos during the morning. Or pre-record these 3 videos, it's a possibility. And , that's the problem with time difference as well. Otherwise, I'm fine with that.
