So when I starting my huge fan Dom of mega man, I thought I was the only mega man fan but as time went on I saw more and more mega man fans but the mega man series is slowly fading away. Until Nintendo had Mega man in the game and also the other mega man charters (X, mega man.EXE, Geo Stellar aka mega man, Mega man Volt nut etc.) are in mega man's final smash. I am happy that Nintendo has given mega man more attention than capcom did and I have a flash drive full of mega man pictures. So I am happy that I am not the only mega man fan. I think Nintendo is a mega man fan too.

There are tons of Megaman fans. We all still love megaman even though the games have died. We will still play the insane amount of older Megaman (X, Zero) games that are out there, and we still enjoy our beloved Megaman games.

I get really ticked off when people say Mega Man is dying, because if you look at it my way, I see a very low chance of the series just dropping off the map. Considering his inclusion into Smash, we do know he is alive and kicking, and that Nintendo has something to do with it. We also know that Capcom has a habit of milking its products for all they are worth, and considering Mega Man's fans, we would be more than happy to throw our money at a new entry to the series. Lastly, I get the feeling that Inafune's plans are to make Mighty No. 9, then have enough money from it and other titles to buy the rights to Mega Man, and then have both series functioning side my side.

I hope people stop looking at this so negatively.

Well MegaMan is not going to die.

People still play older mega man games on vizzed. Heck that is what brought a ton here.

I think he will not die at all considering he is being put in super smash bros.

Despite all of the megaman fans, the harsh reality is that the Mega Man franchise has been abandoned by Capcom. I would love for there to be a comeback, but unless Capcom sells it, I don't see one.

megamanmaniac : I completely agree with you.

Unless Capcom decides to sell the rights to the franchise I doubt there will be another Megaman game especially since the creator of Megaman left Capcom(to be honest I don't blame him for getting off the Titanic if you catch my drift). But there is a glimmer of hope, Mighty No. 9 bears a striking resemblance to a Megaman game plus it's made by the creator of Megaman(it basically is the blue bomber reloaded with a few excellent tweaks to what he can do). But as far as a authentic Megaman experience goes game wise Capcom won't be making one anytime soon(and they recently cancelled two Megaman games that were set to be released in 2014).
