So I have a crappy old computer that can pretty much only play GBA and Sega games on Viz and can't play many online games which really sucks since I'm a hardcore gamer. So I was thinking of buying myself a laptop and I wanted to know which laptop works really well with Viz. So give suggestions on what laptop you have that works good with Viz or a good gaming laptop.

Eternalflame... this question has such a large variety of answers that it's almost a silly question to ask. XD (No offence). There are so many other things to consider!  The biggest thing is... how much are you willing to pay?  There are crazy gaming laptops which can cost up towards $5000, and there are laptops like mine which do a decent job (especially for a gamer like me), and only cost $500.

What else would you be looking for in your laptop?  Surely gaming wouldn't be its only purpose?

I would go with a Lenovo. Its the computer that I use and it works really well. If you do want a computer that's just for gaming and one of those high tech ones, you can't ask me, I'm only good with the basic computers that get the job done

I'm not looking for a really high tech one that costs $5000. So I'm guessing a $500 one will be just fine with me. Yea it won't be for only gaming, I will use it for school work as well. Not much else since I'm not the techy sort of guy.

We have an ASUS laptop that works pretty well, although you might need to change the cable after some time. At the moment, I'm typing on my ASUS computer, not laptop, but ASUS works well in my experience.

Well really a lot of the games here require very little requirements to play. They are after all retro.

Here are my specs that I run with (all game work at full speed by the way):

AMD A6-3400M x4 Processor
AMD Radeon(TM) HD 6520G Graphics Card
6GB Ram
1.3GHz Core speed

You could probably get this laptop for about $600-$800 max. But really that more than you need.

Like you said if you're going to use it for just school work and vizzed you could probably get one for $100 cheaper. You probably won't need as much RAM and you could go for a dual core or if you want a triple core (dual core is probably best though) and lower the cost by $100+.

You want at least 3 processors, or cores tbh, not running below about 2.4ghz.
A minimum of 4gb RAM too.
That should play most vizzed games easily enough. My last desktop pc was in that range and despite normal games being limited, as far as vizzed went i never encountered a problem.

It really depends on your budget.

If price isn't a factor, I would highly recommend an Asus ROG (Republic of Gamers) laptop.

Mine works great for vizzed and every other game I've thrown at it.
