If you were to have just one system for the rest of your life and one game for it, which would you choose? For me, I would go with the PS Vita and Persona 4 Golden, I could waste away month after month with just that one game.

This is a really hard question for me to answer, since I don't often play games.  It would become even more difficult if you did or didn't include pc games and a computer.

If PC games don't count, I'd have to go with my 3DS and the "Brain Age: Concentration Training" game.  If I kept another game, I'd get bored of it after playing it for so long, and I'd learn it inside and out. With the Brain Age game, I can exercise my mind every day and keep it sharp. Even if I somehow managed to make my way to the highest level in each challenge, I'd STILL be getting a benefit from playing the game.  I've noticed that since I began playing it, it really does have a positive affect on the sharpness of my thought processes. Its pretty amazing.

If PC games DID count..... I'd likely have to stick with Minecraft.  (Maybe?)  at least then, I'd really have endless things to explore and build... and I do adore exploration games just about the most.

The console would be a very easy choice, the Sega Genesis but what game for it is a harder choice to make. There are so many great games for the Genesis but I think I would have to pick my favorite, Sonic the Hedgehog 2. I have loved that game for years so I can see myself loving it for plenty of more years to come.

There is a ton to do in the game, and with wifi, you get a lot more to do. I love the game and really wouldn't mind exploring everything that is in the game and completing story mode and all of that. I don't really know how many other people would choose it, but I would think that there would be a pretty good number of people.
