About what is the size of your school?

The high school that I went to was one of the biggest high schools in New York City. The school had nearly 4000 students and averaged about 34 kids per class. There was so may kids, that after my Sopohmore year, an extra period was added to the day so there culd be more classes.

Now, in College, I go to one of the big universies and there has to be at least 18000 students on this campus.

zanderlex : i guess the high school/Colledge i go to is pretty big i bet there are about 600 people going here but i'm still new there but i did see a bunch of people i think that it might be about 2 or 4 stories high with 30 kids in every class with like 100 classrooms

Pretty small actually. My graduating class has about 90 people in it total, and the entirety of my high school has less than 400 students total.

It's pretty intimate, as I know every single one of my classmates.

As of right now, my school has about 1,800~1,900 students in it, I don't know the exact amount, but it falls somewhere in that range, and it comes very close to nearly 2,000 kids. There are about 400+ kids in each grade, and I believe senior has the most, at like 460, and then freshman at like 450, then juniors, and sophomores with a range in the 400s or so. 


Doesn't seem like a lot, considering you are in college, but for high school, it is quite a lot. The college I want to get into will probably have 5,000 or more students in it.

My school is.... fairly small. I can estimate about 200-300 students in my school. I'm not quite sure. But my school is a private school, not a public one. Though, the building itself is fairly large. I honestly enjoy small schools more than large and filled schools since knowing others is easier and less crowded hallways.

Around ~1000, I think. It's a decently sized school that I'm fine with attending. It's not awkwardly small, but it's not so big that I don't know everyone in my class.

What a huge school. We only have about 400 or so students in our high school. Actually, we would be lucky to even have that. My class is only around 80 students, and it is the smallest out of any other individual class in the high school, middle school, or even the elementary school. We have had the most loss, and we are kind of bringing down the average. Some of the classes range from 100-250 students, so it's a bit unfair to judge the current state of the school. Once we leave, there could easily be 800 students in the high school, a number double that of what it is currently.

My middle school had 7 floors I'm not to sure cause I haven't returned to that school in years ( to see if anything changed ). However, I do remember my high school only having 5 floors. The school was very easy to navigate around since it had an elevator. The biggest floor was the the one below the first that's where the auditorium use to be before it got turned into two separate gyms and locker rooms.
