Welcome everyone to the Bomberman '94 Tournament.

In this tournament we'll be playing Bomberman '94 for the Turbo Grafx. Every week the 4 users with the lowest amount of points will be eliminated from the tournament. If there's a tie, both users will be eliminated. In the first 2 weeks, no one will be eliminated, eliminations will take place at the very beginning of week 3. So this tournament will last 13 weeks.

Each Tuesday I'll make a thread which shows the 2 matchups that each user is to participate in and I'll also list the time and day you're suppose to show up to the netplay lobby to do the matchup. The user with the highest score is in charge of creating the netplay session but if more than 1 user are tied for 1st, than any of the tied users may make the netplay session (which will be the case in week 1). Remember, each of you play 2 matchups a week so it's your responsibility to show up to your matchup based on the time and day I list for you each week.

In each matchup the players will play until someone has won 5 games so a single matchup can take between 15-30 minutes. The points given out will be based on the total number of contestants.

1st = 7 Points
2nd = 5 Points
3rd = 3 Points
4th = 2 Points
5th = 1 Point

4 Player Matchup
1st = 7 Points
2nd = 4 Points
3rd = 2 Points
4th = 1 Point

3 Player Matchup
1st = 7 Points
2nd = 3 Points
3rd = 1 Point

2 Player Matchup
1st = 7 Points
2nd = 1 Point

Failure to show up to a matchup automatically results into 0 points. Even if players fail to show up to your matchup, that will not reduce the number of points your matchup was originally suppose to award. So for example, if your matchup was a 5 player matchup but only 3 players show up, the scoring will be as if it was a 5 player matchup.

If there's a tie for any of the places, the users will share the sum of points among all the places taken up. So for example, in a 5 player match, if 2 users tie for 2nd, than those users share the total points of 2nd and 3rd place. So that'd be 5+3 = 8 which means those 2 users would share the 8 points which would result into them both getting 4 points (numbers will be rounded).

A week in this tournament starts on Monday (even though matchups don't begin until Tuesday) and every Monday I'll summon users to a scheduling thread where they can pick and choose which day and time they want to play their matchup from a list of available days and times to pick from. If you don't know by now, all matches will take place at either 7 PM, 7:30 PM or 8 PM central time on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday (but this will change as the tournament goes on). You'll only be playing 1 matchup for the first 2 weeks but each week after that (except the final weeks) you'll be playing 2 matchups.

It's not necessary to record or take a screenshot of your matchup but it is definitely encouraged. Some users, like myself and lilwildwolf, may also live stream matchups.
