I guess it's kinda annoying but sometimes there are a ton of sub-arguments that get started in the thread that don't really involve you, so it's nice for someone to specifically target you (even if you created the thread) to let you know that they're addressing you specifically.

It doesn't really annoy me at all since I don't mind notifications. Unless it were to constantly keep happening very often and if my notifications were to literally have nothing but unnecessary summons to my own thread.

I find it annoying when people use my threads for post+ either for TDV or a posting competition or whatever, and then they give these fast, spammy replies just to move on and find another thread from the new posts to post in. 

I don't mind having people summon me to my own thread or post if I did something wrong or incorrectly by accident, or just to ask a relevant question or something, but other than that, I don't appreciate it when people just use my thread as another place to post rather than actually contribute to the topic. So it can be very annoying, but rather than blow up about it, I either ignore it or just move on....I don't get a ton of summons anyway.

I don't hate so much as I find it annoying. I think people may just do it because some find it a little more convenient than pressing the "reply to thread" button rather than just clicking on my post. It makes there post stand out more and it'll probably be less likely that I'll miss reading it but I pretty much always read them. So I don't really find it necessary to add an extra notification for the same thing.

I do not hate it. It is just fine with me because if I was summoned for no reason then I will just look at some posts in the thread to make it so me going there was not a complete waste of time. Also this has almost never happened to me.
