This is more common than you think but I really want a de-scented skunk. If you take care of it well then it makes a really good pet. I also wouldn't mind having a goat too. I like goats.

Well as far as weird or strange pets go, I think it would be interesting to have a bird or a parrot or something like that. I don't plan on having too many pets though because things will most likely get carried away. For me that is a strange pet because I could never imagine having an anteater or a de-scented skunk as a pet XD. But what I really want is my own fish tank, something I have wanted for a long time....

I want several national parks so I can preserve the natural habitat of a number animal and pant species from things like clear cutting and hunting.

I would also like a tank about the size of several achres of land, and then Ill buy up all the fresh water or saltwater (depending on my choice) and then buy up all of the animals born in captivity and in pet shops and stuff and put them all in tank so that they can live in a slightly more normal environment.

Maybe I will turn a farm into an eco system for a number of animals so that they can have a nice human free environment to live on.

There's only one pet I enjoy in its adult form, dogs. So it's no surprise that given the chance, I'd go for a wolf.

I'm going to go ahead and say what everyone in this thread has probably been thinking, and that is that I want a Pokemon as a pet. Something classy, like a Grovyle.

But since Pokemon aren't real (or at least they haven't been genetically engineered yet... cross your fingers, guys), I'd like to have an Arctic Fox as a pet. There's lots of videos of YouTube of people who have managed to get them as pets by means of special licenses and they're so darn cute when they play. They're like dogs, only cuter. I'm pretty sure they're banned as domesticated pets in my state, though, so I'm out of luck. I tried to find other states where they're legalized but there's surprisingly not a lot of information on Google.

I want a squirrel. I knew this guy that had a squirrel. It used a litter box and ate cat food but it would climb up his pants and perch on his shoulder. The only problem I can think of with that is if you weren't wearing pants for some reason.

While we lived in Alaska, there was one squirrel we kind of treated like a pet, though he never got inside the house. We named him George. He had some disorder which caused his bottom teeth to overgrow. Over the years, it grew way too long,started curling back, and cutting into his cheek.  We saw him dead on the street after a few years, run over.
