Ok so I'm hoping I can get help I'm still learning the site overall and I wasn't to sure what would happen...

anyways so my story is.... I just bought the v-machine like 10 minutes before posting this message then out of curiosity I wanted to know how the sell it back part works as its not like it says what it sells back for or that you will lose some credits upon doing so... so i tried it and now i find myself 7k less in credits and no v-machine... can i get a possible fix/help for this by chance?

some help would be nice ive been saving those points for along time now.... so it would be rather sad to lose some....

Unfortunately, once you sell an item, you can't get it back unless you buy it again from the store... Just be careful next time...

That's how it is supposed to work.

When you sell back something in the Item Shop, you only get 75% of the amount back. It explains it here under the Selling Items.

There is really no fix for that, because it's not technically broken. However, you can post in the Generosity thread explaining your problem.

Just remember, selling back =/= refund. They are completely different.

my story is simple... i bought the v-machine and out of curiosity i tried to sell it as i wasn't sure how that worked... (that and i had no idea that 1 simple click over the icon is all that's needed... (not even a confirmation/warning asking me if im sure i want to do this as if i do ill lose credits) something like that would be nice...... and i had no idea there was a section to read on for how the selling back items worked... as i said im new to this overall i had been saving those points for about a year now... and i was in the middle of being shown how this site works but the one in staff position who was helping me is having life issues which i understand and so we stopped... anyways if not fix can be gained here i guess ill contact someone in staff thanks for trying tho ^^

But anyway, as what Mistress have said, the only possible fix here would be to ask for help in the generosity thread, or maybe sell something in vizzed market in exchange for Viz. The rate would usually be 1000 Viz per 1 US dollar to give you an idea for fair pricing.

dragonlance190 : why the heck would you sell the v machine you can play all games for free instead of costing like 7 to 100 Viz next time you buy it don't sell it and this is a difficult problem ya got here its hard to help the v machine is expensive

I did a similar thing with the Netplay item once. I accidentally clicked on it. I will give you the rest of the Viz that you need to buy the V-Machine again. If you have already bought it again, please give me my Viz back.

ya it was late when i replied the first time didn't notice the ones who had replied were mods... and Juliet of all things ^^ my bad.. but thanks for the help a few donated credits to me so i can re buy it so that's nice ^^ and yes i was curious well you know the saying "curiosity kills the cat"....

and if i were to sell the v-machine later it would be maybe for the beta ticket & the plugin accelerator as in fact i have most oldy games i want already bought on here so the v-machine tho its nice isn't what i will need or want later which was the laptop but now the netplay is changing from what ive read so im holding off on that one for now seeing where its going and now im more after the ps1 thing that was added recently that one seems like it may be nice to have! anyways so that's why i was wanting to know how it worked for later but ya now i know and well thanks for the help with this issue ^^
