What is the best series you've ever played from the Shin Megami Tensei franchise of video games?

Mine is the Persona series, but I also liked the original series, namely Nocturne.

Shin Megami Tensei is such a great thing. Such long games that are always really good games.

Mine is also the Persona series. I really like the length as well because it allows for better game play and what I like the most are the stories that are in the game.

As has been previously mentioned, the Persona series. It feels better developed than the others, and of course, it probably is, seeing as they have had more experience with past games, and the systems that the games are on allow for better gameplay. Take for example Persona 3, and Persona 4. The games allow you to walk around in dungeons, and during fights (for this, I mean, see your characters in 3D graphics), as well as around the towns that the characters live in. I don't remember that being possible in SMT. The stories also seem to be better, or at least, I like them better.

I'm gonna be super original here, the person series! Woooo! I found myself getting entranced by each game I played of the series, particularly 3 and 4. The music was amazing, the characters fantastic and the plots interesting and enticing. They were also fairly difficult which is nice as most games nowadays are too straight-forward and boring. Persona 4 is my absolute favorite game overall too, mostly because of Yukiko who was the main reason I played the game in the first place xD
