If there is not a way to block someone it is in good interest to some of the people that hate inappropriate chat users that  say the nastiest things , i had this problem on pokemon yellow , guy was talking about very nasty things , i was laughing but its the thought of being able to block these people from annoying you in chat while talking to a friend or new acquaintance. thank you for the read vizzed members .

1) Report the user who is being nasty. Most likely that person will be banned if evidence is given that that person is being nasty, which would prevent the person from playing games for a while.

ahh but I'm a talkative guy , i talk to friendlies in game chat all the time , it's just those few people that ruin the game chat , it would be good if there was  a quick block in game chat , like the chat room , but i don't like wasting Viz to be in there

If they continue, then they get a temporary ban. If they keep doing it, they get a longer temporary. If it is clear that it isn't changing their behavior, then it is permanent.

So you don't have to worry about getting someone banned for reporting them. Unless they are repeat offenders, they won't get banned just because you reported them. If they are repeat offenders, they deserve to get that ban anyway.
