NOTE: if there's a thread already like this feel free to close this. anyway greenluigi here and i bring you another mario thread! as the title says which is your favorite koopaling? i would say ludwig von koopa because he is the smartest one and the strongest one of the seven Koopalings. i should say he is in 2nd command. 1st in command is of course Bowser XD. anyway tell me your favorite koopaling and why

My favorite Koopaling? It's definitely Ludwig von Koopa ! I don't know why. Perhaps it's just because I find his hair  funny (especially in dannywaving's Two Koopas for a Throne part 1 - A day with Bowser Jr. when he pulled the wand of out of his hair xD). Also, I love his "Eh?Hmhmhm... Oh." in NSMB Wii, NSMB2, and NSMBU (his voice suddenly got squeakier in Mario Kart 8 O_o). 

I also think Ludwig von Koopa is my favorite because, according to what I've heard, he is Bowser's second in-command, excluding Bowser Jr, who is not a Koopaling, even though everyone counts him as one. Ludwig is the oldest of the Koppalings, he is the smartest, and always the final one you battle in the games.

BTW, imamonster:  Maybe you're right, but I think his name is based on that of Ludwig van Beethoven, since both he and Ludwig compose music xD. Nice catch there, though.

Anyway, Ludwig will probably always be my favorite out of the seven Koopalings. I hate his cartoon counterpart, "Kooky von Koopa", though -.- . Oh, great... Now I can't get the Koopalings' second theme out of my head... Lol.

Man... Everyone is choosing Ludwig.
And he just happens to be my favorite, too.
I have all the great reasons.

Basically, His design and voice are really good. Really distinctive from all the others.
Sure, every koopaling is different in a way, But Ludwig just sticks out from the 7.

I just basically hate every koopaling in the SMB3 cartoon series, Why? They are named in no way that relates to the game, along with the fact of personality. So Kooky Von Koopa... If I had to pick a favorite koopaling, I would still go with him. (His brand new personality was actually quite good.)

I also like the fact that in Super Mario World, After you defeat the boss of Castle #4, Ludwig, You get this message: "Ludwig Von Koopa's days of composing Koopa symphones in Castle #4 are over." I like this because this is obviously a reference to Ludwig Van Beethoven. It's clever, Nintendo. Too clever. 

So Ludwig is my favorite.
