I have been looking for some new reviewers to watch. I love Avgn and have for years. I have also watched stuff like Pat the nes Punk (not a huge fan of him but hes ok) and MetalJesus (he seems like a nice guy and I like his work). I have been looking for some more good reviewers that review retro games. Who do you like? What do you suggest? Ps if this thread is in the wrong place my bad, please move.

GenesisJunkie : Irate gamer! he is kind of a rip off of AVGN but in one of his new seasons he is totally original. Take the power rangers video for example great stuff. DONT WATCH BACK TO THE FUTURE TOUGH! that is very ripped of of avgn

imamonster : I have seen a little bit of his stuff just because of the Angry Video Game Nerd but I may go take a second look because of your post. As I recall I didn't like his stuff too much but you never know, I could like it now.

Gamester81 is one of my favorites. He focuses more on retro hardware like systems and cool devices. The other thing I love about his videos is that he doesn't swear or use foul language, any time I see a YouTube video that does that I turn it off immediately (for moral reasons and because my kids are usually in the room).

Davideo7 : I think I might have just watched one of his videos about Atari 2600 homebrews. I will have to check out some of his stuff, if you like it then it can't be too bad.

The channels he's related to, like PeanutButterGamer and Caddicarus, are pretty funny too. He shares a website (http://normalboots.com) called Normal Boots with a few of them, and Caddicarus and his friends have a website (http://hiddenblock.com) called Hidden Block.

http://classicgameroom.com Classic Game Room used to post his videos on YouTube. But then copyright stuff happened. He's still got a YouTube channel, none of his videos are down as far as I know, but he's doing new stuff on his own website to be safe. Pretty entertaining review show, he does a lot of modern stuff too but his retro reviews are pretty cool.

http://www.youtube.com/weirdvideogames And moving right into obscurity, Weird Video Games. JonTron's got almost a million subscribers. CGR has about 350,000. Weird Video Games? 3700. Yeah, he's not big. But he's very funny. Maybe not very consistent at uploading, but it's a very unique and entertaining review show. Just know that he never focuses on a game's quality, just how weird it is.

GenesisJunkie : Yeah he's also into homebrew games. I'd like to eventually get into sorta doing what he does with my YouTube channel, reviewing rare or cool gaming items.

I watch Classic Game Room which is pretty good. The YouTuber Pete Dorr does a couple of reviews every now and then but he's mostly into game collections and stuff.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. I learned today that JewWario is dead. I really enjoyed his work and all but forgot about him for a bit. Today I remembered him and though "wonder what he is into?" looked and well, he is not into much, sadly he is dead. He seemed like a really nice guy and made great videos. 

GenesisJunkie : Yeah, it's a real tragedy. I almost feel bad that I linked the Weird Video Games channel; JewWario was in his most recent video. I was really shocked to hear it; I was never a "fan" per se, but I had watched him before, I knew who he was. Everyone is saying that he was the nicest person they'd ever met. I kind of wish I had appreciated his work more, honestly.

You should check out Somecallmejohnny, he is a great reviewer and puts a lot of time into his videos. You should also check out JonTron, he is also good.

Local Mods : Close please. I have found a ton of great reviewers and I don't foresee anyone suggesting one I haven't already seen.

I think his name is BalrogtheMaster, or something, on Youtube. His Nintendo 101 series is his series of game reviews. He's coming out with more reviews, but he's reviewed Earthbound, Super Mario Bros, Pokemon, F-Zero, and more.

Ok, I'll close this up for you. But I want to suggest Classic Game Room as well. He does mostly old games like Vectrex and Atari, but does a few new games as well. He actually left Youtube for a while, but just came back. Not really full reviews or anything, but it's entertaining.
