If Vizzed could put any console of my choice on to this website..I guess for me personally it would be the Dreamcast, that thing is technically retro so it would be perfect.

I would honestly have to say either the GameCube or the PS2. I have had many memories with both of the systems, despite the fact that I have never owned a GameCube. I used to play games with my friends all the time on both systems until everyone started getting really into Call of Duty (ugh) and refused to play any older games with me. It would be really nice to play the system on Vizzed, though the odds of something like this happening are 0, for seemingly obvious reasons.

If David could add any console to the Retro Game Room I would want him to add the Sega Saturn. It would be cool for newer consoles, like the Gamecube or Dreamcast, but even if it was possible to add those my laptop wouldn't be able to play them. I would also like the Odyssey 2 to be added to the RGR. I know it is in the Video Game Room but I would like to play O2 games before I buy them.

My choice would be the PS2, but I don't think it will ever be on this site for lots of reasons!!

PS4 SNES Phillips CD-i The GameCube. It's laggy but still playable if you have a nice CPU. It's actually probably my favorite game console. It was a big fat step for Nintendo (going from hideous N64 games to beautiful, massive GCN games) and it has some incredible games. And what if it was Netplay compatible? Find two people with extremely good computers and internet connection, and there you have 6 hours of Super Smash Bros. Melee!

There's also a whole bunch of GCN games that I would like to play but I never have...

Gamecube. Then I would be playing Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker (already got the Wii U version of the game) or Super Smash Bros. Melee (hoping to get Super Smash Bros. U).

I would say DS/3DS because there are so many and it is a common system. Plus so games for those systems are either hard to find or too expensive for some people to get. Also a specific game for vizzed to get would be The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. There are a few others but till the system is available the games wont be there.

PS3, why? Because even though it's not retro, it's still bad

DS.  Desmume is one of the best emulators in existence, and it has had great support so far.  As much as I'd like to see Gamecube or PS2 on here, DS is much more practical, and has a fantastic library of games, to boot.

TheFadedWarrior : "hideous N64 games"? The 64 is still one of the most famous systems ever for it's games library, plus at the time it had pretty great graphics in most of it's titles (though they never did that good on realistic human characters). For example, check out Banjo-Kazooie, Super Mario 64, Diddy Kong Racing, and Donkey Kong 64. Those were incredible graphics for their time.

Now if you mean the fact that the cut-scenes were either non-existent or very poor quality (usually), then yeah that was a problem. And the step between the N64 and the GameCube was pretty big, but then so was the PSX and PS2, but that's because they doubled the power. I can't deny that it was a huge step up for them though, and the GameCube was a very good console, or at least it seemed to be from what little I got to play on it, so I agree with you.


98Gamingstar - So while I know that these newer systems cannot be added (and I think the RGR is beyond epic as it is), if I could have any system added, it would be the DS, as I'm sure my computer couldn't handle the GameCube or PS2 (my other choices). The ds has plenty of Mario, Zelda, and Harvest Moon games (oh gosh, the Harvest Moon games! lol), so I would be happy for quite a while on those alone.

My choice as for adding another system to the site would be the PS2 because it has some games that I would like to play over and over again.

Eirinn : I was referring to the huge graphical step that Nintendo made. The N64 graphics were great, indeed, but compare it with the Gamecube.

But then there's the stinkin' XBOX and PS2, which were pretty crazy with graphics. Maybe Nintendo never originally meant for all their games to have unrealistic graphics... Maybe they were too embarrassed to admit that Microsoft and Sony outdid them in graphics.

TheFadedWarrior : That is entirely possible, seeing as how (in my opinion) they've always been a little behind their competition in the graphics department. I think Sega outdid them graphically in the 8 and 16 bit era, and Sony topped their N64 in most cases, then up until now Sony and Microsoft have seemed to keep it one step ahead of them in that department.

Oh well, their games are still great.


Oh, and I failed to include this in my first post, but if my computer could handle more than the DS, I would choose the GameCube since I own a PS2, and I really want to play Luigi's Mansion and Twilight Princess again.

If it was possible to add any console to Vizzed, then I would choose the Nintendo Gamecube. I have had some of my best gaming memories with this system, from my first game that I ever beat (Sonic Adventure 2 Battle) to one of favorite Nintendo games (The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess). It also has Phantasy Star Online, which was my favorite online game until the sequel came out.
It wasn't until just now that I realized how much I would like to see the Gamecube on Vizzed, but I know that it is completely impossible at the current moment. Too bad.

Another console I think they should add on here is the NIntendo Gamecube, because they have some good titles I enjoyed playing when I had my Gamecube.
