Quentin Tarantino has basically cemented himself as my favorite director of all time. I've seen basically all his movies and loved (almost) all of them.

But my personal favorite (and no it's not Pulp Fiction) is Jackie Brown. Samuel L. Jackson is just unbelievable, and Pam Grier absolutely makes that movie golden.

To all other Tarantino fans out there, what do you guys think his best movie is? Not in terms of popularity, but just your personal opinion.

When I saw the name of this thread my first thought was Jackie Brown. The first time I saw that movie there was this crazy feeling of shock when Deniro deals with Bridget Fonda.

Inglorious Bas***** being a close runner-up because of the "three whiskey's" scene..

Pulp fiction it is. Just because of the scenes of the gangster having to take out the wife of his boss. (Which gangster would ever even be asked to do that? I mean come on?) It is just...hot.

Cactuar :

You are supposed to say either Pulp fiction or Reservoir dogs.

My favorite movie of his is going to be Django Unchained. I really liked it. Other than that, it would be Kill Bill.

That's a really good question, I'm a big fan of his movies. I never could decide between Inglorious Basterds, Kill Bill, Vol. 1, Jackie Brown, Django Unchained, and Reservoir Dogs. One moment, I'd choose Reservoir Dogs because of how little the production costs must've been to make that little brilliant movie, on another moment, I'd pick Kill Bill, Vol. 1 for it's balls-to-the-wall action and Uma Thurman, then I'd pick Jackie Brown for Samuel L. Jackson's role and performance, same with Django Unchained, mixed with its sensitive plotline and amazing soundtrack, and Inglorious Basterds is amazing for its cast and Brad Pitt's performance as Aldo Raine. Boy, does he love his scalps.

Alright, for now, I'll just pick one of them. Reservoir Dogs is my favourite Tarantino movie. For now. It could be a different one tomorrow, because, gosh-darn, I love his movies
so much. But Reservoir Dogs is my favourite for now.

I think the best Quentin Tarantino movie is From Dusk'Till Dawn. I like the plot (although it is kind of stupid). I couldn't help but notice how annoyingly bronzed George Clooney was in that movie.

My favorite (like many others probably) is Pulp Fiction. I only really have 1 thing to say about it: Samuel L. Jackson.
I also like Kill Bill a lot the fight scenes are awesome.

There's a lot that I haven't watched though so my opinion will probably change in the future.

Reservoir Dogs is still my top favorite. It was the first one I watched of his and I'm just attached to it. I also just really love the cast. Like thephantombrain said, Inglorious Basterds comes super close because that whole segment in the basement with Hellstrom is my favorite thing ever. I sometimes put on the movie just to watch that one scene where Stiglitz says his famous line.

His greatest I think is Pulp Fiction, but my favorite is Kill Bill. That whole movie is basically a love letter to martial arts movies of the 70's. Tarantino is constantly making references to these movies throughout Kill Bill. One of my favorites and most obvious one is "The Brides" tracksuit at the end of vol. 1 being the exact style of Bruce Lee's tracksuit in Game of Death.
