When you collect things, do you sell them after a little bit?

I do, whenever I have doubles or feel like I really don't need it anymore, I sell it.

I only really collect baseball cards, so if I have a player that I am super collecting, I keep everything, even if I have 20-50 of the same card. When it comes to other cards, I put some up for sale so I can get more of the player that I want. For instance, just a week ago I sold about 8 cards and was given $75 in store credit that i used to buy even more cards. I went through those, picked out  some of the best ones I want, and it's to the market for the rest of them.

No, I haven't sold any of my collectibles yet, but I am considering selling some of my pokemon and yugi-oh cards, I am estimating that if I sold my pokemon cards alone, I could make about $150 or so since there area  lot of rare ones and also ones that are level X and stuff like that. I am not sure about my Yugi-oh cards though since I don't have quite as many. Nevertheless, I haven't sold anything yet, but I am considering it though.

Nah. I'm a bit of a hoarder when it comes to collectibles. 

I tend to hold on to things for sentimental value. I swear I've still got hundreds of pokemon cards piled up for some reason, even though I've literally haven't used them in over 8 years. Even if I've got double copies of something I'm inclined to keep both just in case I need them for something.

I have also had to sell games that I didn't play much because we needed money in a bad way. For the most part though, when I buy a game for my collection I hold on to it for ever and treat it like its made of gold.

No, I don't but any of my collectibles with the intent of selling them later on. Very rarely there will be a figure (mostly WWE) that I wonder why I bought it in the first place and sell it. Other than that, I buy my collectibles because they're things I love, so I don't want to get rid of them.
