Hello there,

We all  know of one of Disneys latest films, Wreck It Ralph. 

When the "bad guy" of a video game (Similar to rampage) Ralph,  gets tired of being beaten up by the hero of his game,  Felix,  he tries to be, "good" and makes a deal with the neutral characters of his game, that if he can get a medal like they give Felix at the end of every game, then they'll let him stay in their building with them, instead of the dump where he sleeps every night.  So, he leaves his game, to find one where he can get a medal. One of them being, Heroes Duty, he accidentally sets off a escape pod that flies him into a game, Sugar Rush, where he meets an out cast named Vanellope, who was bugged to become a glitch in the game when a video game fugitive, Turbo, took over her game when his was unplugged and thrown out.  Disguised as "The Candy King" Ralph finds out who he really is, and who Vanellope really is, and helps fix the game. 

Well, that's a very basic plot outline.  Really, this was one of my favorite movies of all time! It had so many video game references, like Qbert, and Tapper.  The character design in it was incredible! I loved how all the characters looked! The story was really different feeling than most Disney plots. And lets not forget Owl City's song, "When Can I See You Again" Made for the movie and shown in the credits.

I have never seen a movie like it.  I give it a 10/10 review. Of course that's my opinion... What's yours? I'd like to hear it in the posts!

Not bad for a movie review.. No offence but this is a little late but I still enjoyed it a lot.

This is in my top 10 and I loved how it is related to video games and stuff.

My rating is a 9.8 / 10 because I wanted the movie to be longer! :3

I think it was a decent Disney movie but in all honesty I don't think I would consider it to be the best one out there, but that is just my opinion on it. If anything, I would definitely consider it to be pretty unique since it is the first Disney movie to be based entirely off of video games and I think it worked out pretty well in the end. So it was a pretty good movie overall, but there are a lot of other great Disney movies out there as well, so I don't know if this one is the best....

You know I liked Wreck-It-Ralph, but I didn't love it. 

I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm a sucker for the whole misunderstood underdog story, but I just couldn't immerse myself like I could other movies. 

I'd honestly stick with The Lion King or Frozen.

I liked it. It was a lot better than I expected it to be. But even though I thought it was a really good film, I thought it was more of a cute movie. It was all in good fun for me. But I don't feel it was by any means the best Disney movie. I like movies that can pull out emotion from me. I am not meaning sadness, tears, etc. I mean just a real genuine emotion that makes me feel something for the characters and their story. Something that makes me vested in them. Though watching a movie that is just really fun is great in its own aspect, fun isn't something that makes me genuinely feel something for the characters. There are other Disney movies that do that to me.

I forgot that it was a video game movie after the last 62% took place in strawberry shortcake land.

Sugar rush, wow. I remember loving playing that game growing up.

Oh wait, it wasn't a real game. What was the movie about again?

Don't get me wrong, I loved the movie, and I agree with the not so subtle 'be yourself' sort of moral this story gives but I don't think it's really the best Disney movie at all! As rcarter said, it didn't pull emotions out of me, it didn't make me immersed in itself, but it was an enjoyable movie, nonetheless.

It was a good movie. But there always will be better. I like old Disney cartoons that were cartoons with hand drawn animation. You seen the garbage disney does on it's own channel?

Quhark : Just because something is "Hand drawn" Doesn't make it the best cartoon on earth. Also, cartoons are hand drawn still, it's just that it isn't on paper, just digital, and you get a lot of the same look. and Really, Disney has had some really good cartoons on lately, Like Gravity Falls, and Wander Over Yonder.

rcarter2 : funny, that is the opposite of what happened to me. I felt a whole lot of emotion from it.

All the video game references alone would be enough for me to like this movie. And while it's not my favorite Disney movie it's certainly up there with some of the others.

Even though I love video games and references are everywhere I have still never seen the movie. It looks really good, I just never had the chance to see it. I completely forgot about it until this thread popped up too
