this is my favorite Super Mario game i ever played even since i was 2 yrs old in 1995 Super Mario bros 3 this is a very easy game to beat there 8 worlds to explore through and there are a lot of secrets in this game ..you will start off with 5 ups 

In World 1 the beginning ..
this world is very easy to beat there 6 levels and 1 castles and 2 mushrooms houses .
on the first level there is a whistle when you found a white block and hold the down button and go behind the black finish area you will found a door with a treasure inside and you will get a whistle ..

on Level 3 there is another whistle when you found a white block like you did the first level and watch out for the green guy they will throw a hook at you ..

then in the first castle there is one more whistle when you fly up top of the door ..

the Whistle ..
A whistle will warp you to another world if you used 2 of them in world 2 you will be at world 8 boswers world ..

Items..

Mushroom- Makes mario become super mario when mario gets hit by an enemy he will go back to normal mario..

Fire flower- Makes Mario become fire mario and he can shoot fire ball and kill enemies but when mario gets hit by an enemy he go back to super mario when mario gets hit again he will be normal small mario ..

Feather - makes mario fly in the sky for secret places 

1-up Mushroom- mario will receive 1-up if mario gets hit by an enemy while normal then you will lose a mario 

Frog suit - you can find these in World 3 in Mushroom houses it will make mario become froggy mario and make mario jump higher and reduces the running speed ..

Hammer suit - you can find these in world 6 the snow world in the mushroom houses ..

P-Wing - this will make mario fly anytime into a secret play in a level or in a castle ..

Squirral suit -this can be found in world 4-5 in Mushroom houses this have the same affect as the feather suit the ability to fly 

Hammer- this will help mario destory a block area with a rock blocky the way such as a mushroom house..

Card game..- you will play a game where you have to match 2 cards..

if you get 2 stars you get a star..
if you get 2 mushrooms you get a mushroom
if you get 2 fire flowers you get a fire flower..
if you get 2 10 coins you get 10 coins
if you get 2 20 coins you get 20 coins 
if you get 2 1 up's you get 1 up
if you pick a wrong card you will have one chance if you get another wrong then the game is up..

beating the levels ..

Mushrooms- if you get 3 mushrooms you will get 2 ups
Fire Flowers- if you get 3 fire flower you will get 3 ups
stars- if you get 3 stars you will get 5 ups 
if you get 3 of a kind you will get 1 up ..

the cloud item- this allows you to skip a level..
the music box - this makes the enemies on the map screen fall asleep ..
star- this makes mario become invincible for a short period of time..

once you beat the game the credits screen will be display of all the worlds you have gone through 1-8 ..

I'm going to go ahead and move this to discussions. It's actually more of a tip and trick article, but not quiet what I would call a strategy guide or walkthrough. Nice tip sheet though.

Super Mario Bros. 3 is one of the most beautiful games with adventure he has ever played. Every time you play this game with a lot of things I remember from childhood. I can say with certainty that is unique game ever realized

Super Mario brother 3 one of the greatest games ever. I must have spent more time playing this game then any other. From the power ups to the story. This game could keep you happy for days or until your parents said it was enough. And who could forget the first time you beat the game. You told every one like they cared and you felt so proud of yourself.  I will have to say I don't think they ever made another game for Nintendo like Super Mario three. With that being said I think I'm going to play it now.

I also love this game. It's an absolute masterpiece. I don't get how anyone could not like Super Mario Bros 3
