My parents never set an age level for me to start dating.  I was into sports and video games and I never really pursued girls until high school.  I was 15 and I started going on dates but my parents were fine with it.  Something about my positive attitude and respect for family rules.

I don't think my parents ever really put this restriction on me. My parents were kind of known around my friend group as those hippie parents who were cool with most anything. I mean, they were attentive and stopped me from doing anything stupid (like drugs), but they let me have a relatively free social life.

I'm pretty sure my first date was when I was 14. It was alright, I guess, as alright as a date at 14 can be . My parents had to drive us everywhere so it was a little weird.

I actually never had a set age either. Just happened when it happened. Mainly just when I was able to drive, I could go out whenever (just as long as I said where I was going). I would say that the first 'date' was my senior year. I had girlfriends before then, just never went on a 'date'.

They give me a lot of money just to make me go outside and meet people. I was in a NightClub once, and it was terrible. I did not even drink anything but the loud music made my head ache and I almost vomited. What people like in music so loud that you can't even hear it?

Surprisingly, my parents said I could date when I was 13. Since it was my birthday yesterday, I could date someone, but it has to be my religion, which is a disadvantage to me.

We never had a set age.  Strangely enough I was allowed to date when I was in preschool.  I never dated much but if I wanted to date a guy it was allowed as long as they got to meet him.  *Shrugs* Never was a big thing in my family.

In my case, there's no specific age, but it's preferable if I date after college and when I have a good, stable source of income. I have no problem with it anyway, I'm not into dating at this point of my life.

I was fifteen when I had my first girlfriend. We did not live in the same city so she had to visit me and I had to visit her. Both her mom and my parents thought it was okay that we see each other and allowed us to sleep in the same room yet not in the same bed. Her mom made a bed for me on her floor and my mom vice versa. They never met each other but I think they talked on the phone and agreed on things. Well it was cute but we always slept on the same bed until after maybe one year they stopped making the beds. What they did not know however that even though we slept in the same bed, we did not have sex at that early point since we figured we were not ready. (and were not until after two years of dating) We just enjoyed having each other in our arms before we fell asleep and when we woke up, is all.

If I would have a kid I would say around fifteen or sixteen it is fine by me. Depending on with who and other circumstances. In my case it helped that my mom really liked that first girl of mine and respected her. Not which can be said of all girls she met after her. Her mother I think liked me too, though she had a real funny way of showing it.

They thought is was kind of stupid to have a girlfriend in Middle School and looking back I think Middle School relationships are kind of dumb. I guess you could say I thought that back then too. I started dating when I was 15 in High School. My parents thought it was okay because they knew who it was as she was my friend from before and thought she was also a nice girl. We aren't together anymore but we're still pretty good friends. A relationship doesn't always ruin friendships boys and girls

I actually have no idea. I've never wanted to date someone. I haven't even talked about relationships with my parents.

My mother has, however, asked me if I got any girl a gift for Valentine's day. So using that I guess my mum wouldn't mind me dating at 13. My dad hasn't made any hints of what the age should be.

Heh my parents are actually encouraging me to date. They always ask if there are any girls that I like. Unfortunately for me, I am a no-life nerd, so even if there was some kind of age limit, it wouldn't matter.

My parents don't have a concrete age for me to start dating, I am 16 right now and I haven't even fully considered it yet, I think it would probably be best to finish my next 2 years of high school before diving into a relationship. I would say I am at the right age for when dating should happen, but I am just not really interested right now, I have other priorities I guess, plus I haven't met the right type of person yet. I will eventually though, but as of right now I haven't dated anyone yet, and I don't have an exact age set in stone for when I might meet someone. 

They never really set a limit but I started dating at twelve or thirteen... I remember it somewhat well. I asked a girl to watch Spiderman 3 with me and she said yes. I waited in the mall waiting for her drinking cups of coke ($3+$2 for refill, Yeesh). When she came by, we watched the film. After that we went to the food bar in the opposite side of the mall and ate some nice Chinese food lol. Date ended up with a hug and many more dates.

I was very much 'into' girls at a young age. And I would of dated if my parents hadn't been strict and wanted me to wait until I was an adult. Though I am happy they made me wait, it gave me time to develop of a knight before a lover.

For my parents it is a strict no middle school dating. But now I am almost 16 still never really thought about it much. I don't know, I guess my parents limits didn't really affect me much.

It's understood that I'm not allowed to date till after high school, but I don't really have an interest in dating anyone so that doesn't bother me. I don't believe one should date till they exhibit enough maturity to deal with the emotions that would accompany a break up or sudden intimacy. The teenage brain actual doesn't have the part developed for action/result comprehension, that's why so many act like dumbarses...

My parents are the sort of pestering ones that are always asking if I have a girlfriend. If I had one I would lie about not having one, I would keep her away from them, I couldn't imagine how they would embarrass me!

So in short, Yes they do let me!

Well i bet my parents will let me date right now. But i hope they know....im not dating women.
