I'm back after a long time with another thread. This time it's about what is your favourite dbz game. Mine is Budokai Tenkaichi 3. This is one of the best sequels in video game history in my opinion BT 1 and 2 were great but 3 is my favourite fighting game period. So what is yours be sure to tell me I would love to know .

Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3 for playstation 2 is the only dragon ball game I have ever bought, I once watched that my friend played a some kind of card game based dbz don't remember the name... I mean the battles was like in Kingdom hearts: Chain of memories if you know what I mean, well anyways it looked pretty interesting game too.

Ooh but now I remember one too, my friend had this one DBZ game on his Nintendo Wii, it was pretty funny, you had to move your arms example if you wanted to do kamehameha! That is probably my favorite dbz game, don't remember it name thou.

Currently, it's Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2.  I have a feeling that Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z is even better, but I've only played the demo.  So keep this thread open, I may have to update my answer when I can afford Battle of Z.  You should get Raging Blast 2, it comes with a Japanese DBZ OVA special.  It is called "Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans" and you get Hatchiyack just for watching it.  It doesn't have an English version, but it has English subtitles.  It may or may not say what they would be saying in an English version.  I have come to mistrust Dragon Ball Z's subtitles after having watched season 9 with subtitles and what they were saying was completely different than what the subtitles said.

My favorite dbz game is Budokai Tenkaichi 3.  My main reason being that it has the largest character roster ever in a dbz game.  Raging Blast 2 is at a close second for me.  Maybe Dragonball Xenoverse will manage to surpass Tenkaichi 3 but I doubt it.

My favorite is definitely Budokai Tenkaichi 3, with Budokai 3 coming in second. Personally, I really dislike all the new DBZ games. Raging Blast 1 was OK, Raging Blast 2 was worse but not terrible (the movement was awkward and I hated the slow down at random times, really messes up my timing), Ultimate Tenkaichi was absolutely awful (all cinematics and luck with no actual gameplay), and Battle of Z was terrible as well. I'm about to give up on modern DBZ games since they seem to focus too much on visuals instead of gameplay (which end up becoming boring in the end anyway). Tenkaichi 3 nailed it with awesome gameplay and the humongous roster of playable characters.

Well I haven't played all the DBZ games, but out of the ones I have played...honestly, I'd have to give it to the first Budokai game. I thought the graphics were awesome, and the cut scenes really made it look like you were watching the actual episodes. Even though this game isn't as popular as something like Mortal Kombat or Soul Calibur, I think the designers deserve a lot of credit for this one. My favorite TV series of all time was transferred into a game...can't ask for anything greater than that!
