Hello, people of the Vizzed community! Recently, I've noticed (and been told) that I was going down a few steps in terms of quality posting. When looking at the evidence provided, I came to a straightforward conclusion - yep.  Since Tour de Vizzed had been beginning to die down and reach its final days, I have lost my 'touch', you could say, at quality posting. I still posted up a storm in my attempt at securing the Blue Jersey, but those were closer to spam than anything I've ever done before, now that I think about it. My friend, specifically Eniitan, was right when she said the competition changed some people for the worst. In fact, I'm quite surprised that my two-word long 'thank you'-type posts went unnoticed by Local and Global Moderators. I should have received a DQ long before the final days, even... Anyway, back to the main topic - I'm back, and in business, too. It's time to admit everything so I return as a prominent member of the posting community with a clear consciousness. Here it goes. I've already admitted half of my wrongdoings since TdV began earlier in this thread: the spam-y, mindless posts that killed the spirit of posting. Now for the rest: The Tabbing Technique! I am not afraid to say that I have used the tabbing technique in my desperate attempt to win the Green Jersey (most 30 words+ posts in 1 hour). It came as a huge advantage as well, earning me an extra 8 posts within the first 5 minutes of the newly began hour, bringing my total post count of the hour to 28! I would have gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for you meddling kids (ha... ha... ha... I know, I need to be better when using references in jokes)... Seriously, though, I am ashamed of myself. I can't bring myself to remember, but I think I actually even read the competition rules before doing so, where it clearly stated that the use of the Tabbing Technique earns you an instant disqualification. What drove me to being unfair is still beyond me. I don't know what I gotten into me. Well, that's why I made this thread - to show you I've changed back to what I was prior to the whole TdV mess. I promise you won't be seeing any more meaningless junk from me, as I am capable of much, much more, and I will strive to reach, or perhaps exceed, everyone's expectations of me... I don't know why, but all I can think about lately is impressing people and changing my image back to when I was more trustworthy. I expect the majority of the community has lost trust and respect for me since the recurring incidents of spam I've been taking place in, and I just want to say sincerely that I am very sorry, and I apologize for every single thing I may have done wrong to ruin the competition for anyone. I am currently overflowing with shame, and I can not think of another way to make up for it. So now, I will be moving on to the next subject - I'm back. I never was 'gone' per se, but, from the posting community, yes, you could easily say I was. Perhaps Tour de Vizzed took everything I got, and I'm still completely worn out after hitting OPS twice in the same month. It's a hell of a lot of work, that's what I'll say. It really is. The only thing I got wrong was what use to put the motivation to. Well, I just want people to know I have not quit posting, nor do I ever plan to, but that I will be less active around the forums for the coming months due to how tired I am. It has been a very long time since I have made a thread, so I decided to make this and just let everything out. That's all the new you'll be getting on NintendoFanKimmy's progress on the board for today, if anyone cared. Just for those who may be curious, as my posts have been pretty much everywhere during the competition, and then I'm suddenly... gone. I just want to say that I'm not gone, but I'm not exactly back yet. I'm just... here. To talk to my friends. And that reason is stronger than any dumb posting competition, I find. I'll be trying to continue to think that way as time goes on, even when it's put to the challenge during the next TdV. So, I'm just hovering here, posting when I am in the mood. You guys are probably wondering why this thread's description is "Here's a message from Morpheus to those who don't know any better". Well, I decided to end this with a brief topic to practice my 'thread-writing' skills, as this whole thread was more of an apology than a real, substantial thread. So, let me make this point briefly (change of subject is approaching). Some people complain way too much on the internet. About life, how that exam was too hard, how you're struggling in Math class, how you failed Driver's Ed, or how your life is so messed up and not worth living. Well, it is. Some people (including me sometimes, I'll admit) fail to realize that a lot of people have it much worse than they do. Their lives (and mine) filled with tough exams or classes or all of that junk is a nothing more than a mere joke compared to some people who are literally starving and sitting around all day listening to the sound of their stomachs rumbling. Teens and young adults who spend all day complaining unnecessarily about their chores of 'ugh my life sucks' are just pathetic. If you can't handle that, wait to see how you 'poor, poor victim of a harsh life' can deal with the life of your typical African. Good luck with that, wimp. Well, NintendoFanKimmy, out, I guess; I'll be back 'in' sometime in the future... Just going to end this with Morpheus's message for all you whining dweebs who don't know any better.

NintendoFanKimmy : That was really great and nice Kimmy! If I can say one thing and I think many others will agree with me on this is the fact that: "even though you did something definitely wrong for a tournament to win" I don't think even an ounce of us would ever lose complete trust or respect for you we all make mistakes and regret them afterwards, it's a cycle of life without it we wouldn't grow ^-^. The best thing to do is like what you did here apologize and ease your regrets and then march forward with a smile on your face and hope in your heart to become that image that you desire so much!

I take offence at your last bit of the thread.

I've always been one to tell people that even though there are other people who have it worse, that doesn't mean their problems are any less important.

Do you have any idea how many people committed suicide because they thought that their problems "aren't important" and that it's "pathetic" for them to be stressed over the "little" things, when there are starving people around the world? NOT just Africa, by the way. Well what happens when a lot of little things add up? It becomes a big deal to them!

My gosh... Do you even realize that the things such as complaining about life and "useless" stuff are different than starving?

Hunger is a basic survival need. Those starving people are experiencing it because they do not have access to sufficient amount of food. There may be many reasons as to why the access of food is restricted, but the main reason those people are starving is because they don't have a lot of food available to them.

But those other stuff? Those are way different. You don't get scolded for starving, like how some people would when they fail an exam. I bet majority of the starving people don't even worry about passing or failing their Drivers Ed, just like how I bet they don't "sit around all say, listening to the sound of their stomachs rumbling."

Heck, majority of the people complaining about those "unnecessary" things are whining because they HAVE to get through it. And you're saying that it's pathetic of them to release that kind of tension?

That kind of thought upsets me.

Mistress : You have made a lot of points, Mistress, that are so true, I believe. So, I will be saying beforehand which of your paragraphs I will be replying to. In response to your first paragraph, I'm sorry that you took offence at the last part of my thread, and I honestly didn't mean it. I agree with you - the fact that some people have it worse than others doesn't mean that their problems are any less important. If I made it seem that way, even though not directly saying so, I didn't mean it - what I did mean is what I'll be getting to at the end. As for your second paragraph, no, to be honest. It never occurred to me that so many, let alone any, people would commit suicide due to those reasons... That fact really supports your answer, by the way. Thanks for letting me know. And I am well aware that starvation and poverty takes place in so many countries besides Africa; it would have taken too much time to list them all, and it was only an example. Trust me, I'm sure we all know it's not just in Africa. Regardless, thank you for noting that. I do realize that complaining about what I called 'useless' stuff is very different from starving. In fact, I never compared them. I was comparing starving to the 'useless' stuff itself, not the act of complaining about them. I agree with your third paragraph one hundred percent (the one stating that hunger is a basic survival need). That's why I used it as a prime example of how painful alternative lives can be. I'm sorry to say, I didn't understand the purpose of your second-last paragraph. True, you don't get scolded for starving (thank heavens), while some people do get scolded for failing exams or other reasons. I don't know about you or anyone else, but I would rather get scolded daily than starve to death. I don't understand how you think those two are equal. I get scolded all the time, and every day. You might, too. But do you seriously think that even that (which I agree is no fun) even deserves to be put in the same sentence as 'starving'? I'm sorry, but I don't think so. I'd take scolding instead of starving any day. Also, Africans and citizens of other poverty-filled countries don't need to worry about passing of failing an exam or a Drivers Ed course; you're right. But I really think eating is much more important than all of those, and a much more important thing to worry about. Sure we get scolded, but just think about it - at least we have parents and teachers to get scolded by in the first place! Some people are orphans. Sure, we get difficult exams and Drivers Ed courses, but think about this, too - at least we are lucky enough to be able to afford taking this driving courses and having an education in the first place! Everything comes with a price. And scolds (or worse, for some other people) and being yelled at and the shame of failing is the price we pay for what he have - an education, the chance to drive, our parents, and our teachers. Some people have less than that, and an even huger price to pay. That's what I was trying to make clear. And I agree with you, Mistress, that everyone has the right to complain about anything, and I mean anything, that is bothering them. What I meant was, I do not like the sight of people who do nothing but complain. Those 'ugh my life is horrible' people who exaggerate to a high level. Thankfully, there are few of those. But, if your life is so 'boring' or 'hard', work to make it better! Of course you can complain, everyone has the right to, but don't do it all day! And, I meant to talk about the people who complain when they know they're not really upset about it. I've seen my friends make dramatic posts about how their lives are not worth living with a literal smile on their faces. So, I suppose I should have made these points a little more clear in my thread... I'm sorry. Anyway, what I'm trying to convey is this - don't complain unless it's really not a joke, and you're being true about it. I hope I made an understanding with you, Mistress... Then again, each is entitled to his or her own opinion. By the way, the quote "listening to the sound of their stomachs rumbling" was taken from a book by an actual African who lived through that life. I'm just saying... Sorry if this was long. But, I wanted to get off on the right foot.

Oh, the reason why I put that paragraph about about starving and being scolded about exams is to point out that those are different kinds of stress, which means that both must be handled differently. I wasn't even trying to compare them. Or maybe I was. Comparing how DIFFERENT both situations are.

Even though you didn't directly state that those issues are any less important, you pretty much made a huge implication by saying that "all of that junk is nothing more than a mere joke compared to some people who are literally starving..."

Your usage of words indicates the tone you are trying to provide to the readers. Right now, my assumption is that you're saying those issues that you listed are inferior compared to starving. And as I said, I'm a firm believer that those issues are no less important. They're just very different from each other. Do you understand where I'm going with this?

NintendoFanKimmy, you nearly made me explode when I first saw that last part of your first post. I'm a lot calmer now, though.

Since you are coming back to posting on the forums, do be cautious of what you type, please?

Mistress : Yes, I see where you are going with this, Mistress, now that you have made your points more clear. I honestly believe that failing your exams, getting scolded or worrying about your driving courses are in no way inferior to starvation and lack of water, yet they are different kinds of issues, and must be dealt with differently, as well. I apologize if my choice of words to use strongly suggests the tone in which I would be speaking if I were to read what I have written aloud. Do not worry; I am not taking this the wrong way, and I appreciate your motivation for leading me on the right track very much. Now for the response to your final sentence. I will definitely try to be more careful about what I type. In fact, the reason I left in the first place was due to the fact that I thought I should have been more careful about my choice of words. Now that I have been told again, I reconsider my return. Perhaps I should not return to the forums. There are a few things I excel at, but writing, apparently, will never be one of them. I apologize for my controversial topics and opinions. And I really appreciate your comments, too. Yours, along with everyone else’s, always influence my next decisions, and they almost always end up being the right decisions that make me realize something I may have been ignorant about. It might be for the best if I, instead of being cautious about what I type, don't type at all. Perhaps I should just be quiet for a little while and let the forums be. But I think I'm just going to give it one more shot, following your advice. Thank you .
Mistress : Yes, I see where you are going with this, Mistress, now that you have made your points more clear. I spammed intentionally during each Tour de Vizzed I competed in too. Now I have lost interest in the Tour de Vizzed and my words per post average is much higher than it was before.

I have been trying to impress people a lot recently too. I have changed a lot in the past few months and I really want people to notice that. I went from being a crazy, very obsessive, slightly immature, slightly caring, fairly nice person to being a calm, not obsessive, very mature, extremely caring, and very nice person.

Welcome back! Good luck with redeeming yourself!
