My opponent, joey9900, has failed to respond to my PM. Another match I haven't played. Kinda sad about it.

Well, Frodlex was unable to do our match, which disappoints me, because I was looking forward to going against him, but oh well.

quig you never told me what games you wanted to play and didn't get back to me tell yesterday so technicaly yes i did respond to you but you waited tell yesterday to respond to my pm and still never set up any games

It is pretty ridiculous how people are having such problems setting up a time to play. I see post after post of people talking back and forward saying "You didn't let me know what game you wanted to play", "You said a time but no date", "You said a date, but no time". The VERY FIRST thing you should do when you know who you are competing against is send them a breakdown of what time you are available for the entire week. For each day, let them know the times you can and can't be on. That way, you don't have to keep messaging back and forward with all this "Will this time/date work?" crap or all the other crap that keeps going on. Each of you send your time/dates of available to each other, find the earliest time/date that you are both free, and you have your match set. A lot of you are making this WAY more complicated than it needs to be.

And don't just send a PM at the beginning of the week and call it good. Sometimes, the PM notification does not show up, so they might not even know you sent them a PM. Send them one a day. Take screenshots of the PMs as proof you sent them. Send a message on their profile comments as well just so there is no chance of missing the notifications. You need to take the initiative to keep on top of it, especially when your opponent is not.

While my opponent was available and we had a set time he forget that we agreed on Vizzed server time and he came an hour early and wasn't active until later that day.
We tried re arrange times again for the last few days of the week but the only times I was available were impossible for him to attend.

He said I could have the victory since he missed the original time.

joey9900 : The user isn't required to tell you in advance which games they are going to choose to play. Not sure why that would get in the way of you scheduling a match during a whole week.

rcarter2 : I know it's getting pretty crazy. I have to explain this to every user it seems like every week. It's been very frustrating.

Here's the deal everyone. It's simple. PM your opponent On WEDNESDAY when the week starts. Lay out the DATES AND TIMES THAT YOU ARE AVAILABLE DURING THE WEEK. Also make sure that you specify which time zone you are talking about so there's no confusion.

From there you shouldn't have a problem setting up a match on most weeks. End of problem.

There are too many of you that assume that your opponent will be online when you are. That almost never happens. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO STATE WHEN YOU ARE AVAILABLE. You should also make it a priority to play MOST OF YOUR MATCHES. It's not hard to find 30mins once a week to play games. Especially since most of you are on here for HOURS each week.

Retroboy and I were able to fit one more round in on Tuesday evening but it was another tie. He did try and play me this morning but he was "on the road" and his Internet connection was dicey. I guess the seeds determine the winner at this point? Which is sad because we both played hard and I don't think either of us wanted to win or lose that way.

Davideo7 : Within 24 hours of submitting these vids I thought I was supposed to see CP and Viz from it. I'm not complaining but if this is something that a staff member has to authorize daily and you are short handed... well, that would be just the kind of staff position that I would be interested in.
