Alright it's not perfect, but it should be ok now. Sorry for the inconvenience.

It seems I am falling farther and farther behind with each passing day, I am hoping that I can strike when it is least expected but even that is going to be a challenge for me. If I can't manage to find games to review then I am just going to drop out an wait until a staff position opens up because it is ridiculous how only the first 2 days put me so far behind everyone else. I tell myself at the end of every day that I will do better the next, but it never works out the way I plan....I don't know what to do anymore.... 

Razor-987 : You are doing fine, you are actually catching up to the others. You will probably be in the top 3 in a few days if you just stick with it.

I find it kind of annoying that some users are pretty much considering the staff position as a trophy, Not A job. I would be doing better if i felt like it... I think i'm almost done being sick so i might be able to catch up.

yoshirulez! : Yeah, I don't think people realize that you actualky have to DO THINGS when your a staff member.

There's nothing like the feeling of finishing over 7 hours of work. 

And then I realize that it's almost time for the next day. =P

I can't blame people for treating the staff position as a trophy... after all, it's practically being offered as one.

Not pointing fingers or anything, but I never thought offering a staff position to the winners was a good idea.

It just encourages a lot of the behavior we've seen this month. And is running some of us crazy. Some.

1 Question.
I am not a Trusted Member, is it possible for me to wit to me to be a Staff Member?
Or can't i get it anymore once i get Trusted Member? :p
If not, i think i'll go for a rented Forum xD (If i get First Place of course ;D )

Also, if possible...
I hope i can be a good Staff Member xD
(If i get at least Third Place of course) 
But if i can be Staff Member... I would need to downgrade once September is up xD

TheFadedWarrior : I gotta say something about your post. You claim you might be the only one doing something productive with your life. That is a very poor attitude and a HUGE assumption on your part. But here is what I will point out. If your age on this site is your real age, you are 13 years old. Exactly what are you doing with your life? School, homework, volunteer or extra curricular activities, some home responsibilities. That is the life of the average 13 year old. I would love to go back to a time where that is all I had to worry about. I have classes to teach, lessons to plan/prep, IEP meetings to attend, training seminars to participate in, a drama department to run, countless hours put into trying to make a theatre show successful, taxes to worry about, student loans to pay off, a marriage to keep fulfilled, other family things to focus on, and my own health to remember to keep up. Even if you have more on your plate than the average 13 year old, you are do not have the burden of responsibility of every aspect of your life. 

I might not be 'competing' in this thing, but people have said that very thing to me in regards to the fact that I participate almost every month in the RGR Competitions, and it infuriates me. Until you have taken the time to learn about the life of all the users here, don't dare try to imply that they are doing nothing with their lives than sit here and 'make reviews and guides'. Not saying that it isn't the case with anyone here. I don't know. But you have no right to just assume that you have such a more productive life than people that you really don't even know beyond their online persona.

Another thing to consider that attitude is something that is a factor on who 'deserves' a staff position. Many times people who have applied with quality work didn't get positions, and the reason being they either showed very little maturity on the board or just had a poor attitude that is not what David wanted to be reflected on the site. The fact that you are throwing a hissy fit and state that you are one of the only ones who deserves a position is not a good reflection for you either on attitude or maturity. You know who else kept protesting that he deserves a staff position? Thing1. You really want to walk in his shoes?

TheJmsGamer : You have it backwards. You need to be a trusted member or higher to own a rented forum, but you don't need to be trusted to become a staff member. You just need to have positive trust points.

Rcarter has a good point, I have always wanted a staff position, but I am not sure if I have what it takes to drive myself through the rest of this month. I still have a grueling 18 ore days of reviews to do and I am not sure I can maintain it. I would much rather apply for a spot than go through this competition to be honest. Hopefully I can pull it off and get in the top 3 though.....
