Glad to see that you're back and will recover. I know from experience how horrific something like that can be and it's great to hear that your injuries wont be permanent.

Zn0Wa93Rz: I can only take sleeping pills once a week, anything more than that and I start to become immune and it doesn't affect me. I would get over the counter stuff but that would require going to the Doctor and I don't have health insurance (which is fine though since I've only had to go to the doctor once in the past 10 years, not including the accident).

BigBob85: Thanks, not sure how busy you are or what your schedule is currently at but I'll keep that in mind.

No insurance? That has got to suck with the accident. Please say the guy is at least being forced to cover your medical expenses.

But yeah, like I said on AR, I am really to hear that you are okay and that you are back. Also, it is good to hear you are going to a chiropractor... accidents like that can seriously mess up your spine.

Very glad to hear there's nothing permanent. And yeah I'd be surprised if there was a part of you that wasn't sore after that.

I've healed surprisingly fast, I'm very fortunate. Having a very low body fat and having incredible flexibility I think has really helped me recover and helped me prevent even more serious of injuries during the accident.

I'm still not ready to go running but I've been walking just fine for over a week now. When I got out of the wheel chair I was still having troubles walking and was walking with pain but it was no big deal as long as I wasn't walking for a long time.

Of course I still make frequent checkups to make sure no other complications have arisen because it's common for this serious of an accident to cause other problems down the line. I'm sleeping a little better now but as I said before, I've had a sleep problem before the accident, the accident just made it worst

The bruises on my legs have pretty much gone away so I can wear shorts again before the cold weather comes in (my legs had huge bruises on them which made it far to embarrassing to wear shorts).

I have heard somewhere that the healthier you are going into an accident the easier it is for you to recover from it. That's just what I've heard . But in your case it does seem to be true.

Heh, I would have worn shorts just to show off my bruises . Although I guess if you don't want to relive the experience then showing off your bruises and having people look and ask what happened doesn't make any sense .... I'd probably feel the same way, probably.

That's very great that you're recovering quickly! You're truly lucky that you're recovering this quickly. It probably also has something do with the many people praying for you, but your fitness and flexibility also helped soften the blow.

Good point Rasen, I can't take all the credit, God and everyone's support also played a huge role.

O.o oh my... i didn't know that you were in an accident. well, i'm glad that you and your father are okay, and that everyone else in your family is okay too, and that nothing serious happened. i'm also glad that you are taking the advantage of living life to the fullest.
