There is a glitch happening to me in the custom layout editor. When I insert a picture in a custom layout and I type "no-repeat;" the picture still repeats. Click this link to see proof that this glitch is happening to me.

I don't know if this will work since I never had to use the no-repeat code, but try using no-repeat-x; see if that fixes it.

I tried the same things you did in your pictures. But nothing strange happened for me. I think it must be a glitch. I always use: ''repeat-y;''. Maybe that helps? It shows the same result you want.

Your code isn't complete either, maybe you should make it complete first. I also noticed you used: ''background-size:58% 100%;'' I always use 100% for both. It's possible that it could be the problem.

I hope I could help you a bit. ~

TornadoMudkip :
pokemon x : Thanks for trying to help me! I tried using repeat-y and making the picture size 100% before I made this thread. Neither of those fix the glitch either.

Proof:

As you can see in the picture, the text box is glitching as well! If this glitch doesn't get fixed, I will never make custom layouts again

I am using the glitched layout for this post because I am curious if the scrolling still works.

Edit: the scrolling doesn't work.

I believe I found the problem with the no repeat not working. You put a space between the no repeat code and the url image.

After your url of the image (the one inside the parenthesis), eliminate the space between the url and the no-repeat code. Should look like;

.jpg)no-repeat;

I actually copied your whole header code to figure out this problem (hope you don't mind). Turns out that simple spacing can affect the coding greatly.

Also, I'm not sure what your layout is supposed to look like, but you forgot a " after your div style= codes. The layout looks much different if you were to compare it with and without the ".

Since taking the space away from the image url and the no-repeat code should work, you can probably put it back to 58%. The picture is much too big for 100%.

Mistress : DOH! I should really slow down when making custom layouts. I should double check my coding too. Thanks for helping me! This is what my layout should have looked like before.

Local Mods : My problem is solved so this thread can be closed
