I remember having a very difficult math exam (for me it was difficult) and i think more difficult exams wait for me. So did you ever had a difficult exam? and what subject was?

I had incredibly difficult exams in Physics last year and Chemistry the year before. I like science, but I've never taken an advanced science class that gave an easy exam.
On the other hand, English is my most unpredictable subject. Some exams I score incredibly well (like this last one, this winter) and others I score far lower. The exams are not necessarily that difficult, but the Quote Identification questions, Short Answer, and Essays leave a lot of room for points to be taken away. Plus, there's really no fair way to grade an essay and my teachers never give 100s on essays, so there's already a few points gone right there.

I had a very hard mock exam. 
I have to admit first that I didn't really try yet even then it was difficult. 

English exams are just a pain. The whole thing is just based of analizing text and I am bad at that. Knowing I would do well I gave up and put in about 20% effort in or maybe less. I mean the mocks anyway so why should we care about the grade we get?

So my score... 4 out of 32.

There were a few rough ones in high school and I took the ACT Exams for college, but the most difficult exam I ever took was the first exam of the first semester in Biology 101 at Texas A&M University.

Actually, every exam I have ever had was either average or easy for me overall. I never found anything to be particularly "hard", but there were those "uh" moments, of course.

exams have been difficult mathematics, economics, finance, accounting, and finally in the matter of macroeconomics

ximex : yep and it was a math exam but our teacher gave it to us without teaching us any thing that was on it so i basically failed really bad

I don't think i've ever had a "difficult" exam, per se. I study for all of my tests, and i almost always score in the 80's or 90's. The closest i ever had to a difficult exam was my grade 6 EQUO. The EQUAO is basically a standardized test to see how you're fareing with various subjescts at grade's 3, 6, and 9. The G6 EQUA was huge and had a lot of difficult questions, but i still managed to score highly.

The exams for you to pass on to the next grade are always difficult to pass. Most of the time for those test I don't study and I get decent scores. There are times when I do study and I get better grades but I just get too lazy to study sometimes.

Yeah, I be having very difficult exams...that i know i will fail on. Its usually State exams. I must of failed that exams like hundreds of times.

I have had my fair share of difficult exams. Primarily, they came from the most unpredictable subject of all: English. Seeing as English class in high school is no longer about teaching the language, but is more of you learning how to interpret the language, it becomes very unpredictable, and also really difficult. Usually, it causes variance in interpretations. I oftentimes believe that a book is saying something different than what the teacher believes is right. Of course, since the teacher is "always right", I am always wrong, and so score really low on English tests. Luckily for me, I am capable of writing strong essays, and they help pull my grade up, as well as the homework. The only other class that I have had difficult exams in is AP Statistics. I really suck at statistics. I have no idea why, but my brain is simply refusing to learn the material. I tried to score better on my more recent exams because my grade is really starting to drop significantly, but it has not been helping. I have not passed a single test out of the last four that I have taken in the class. Of course, I did significantly better early on in the year, but I started to become unable to learn and apply the material. We even have formula sheets, but I still cannot wrap my head around how to use them. 

I've had some pretty difficult math exam's over the years, but then again it doesn't take too much for me to think a math exam is hard. I suck at math. I think the most difficult exam I've had was my grade 11 English exam. It's not that the questions were hard or anything like that, it was because it was nearly 30 pages long and consisted of hundreds of questions. My English teacher gave everyone a week to work on it and only a few people actually finished it, me being one of them.

My final exam for German was hard last year, probably the hardest exam I have ever taken. It was 100 questions long, and I missed a good number of them. It was a very hard exam and I hated it. But I didn't do as bad as the rest of the class so I am happy about that

It's not that they're difficult it's the fact that you have a certain amount of time. It's the pressure that gets to me, not the difficulty of the test itself. I always end up struggling on any exam or test because of this overwhelming anxiety the takes over my brain. Darn my mental constitution...

These exams you're having now will seem like nothing once you get to college. I remember the hardest exam I ever took, I still got an "A" on it, but I had to really study for it. On the exam, there were only 3 questions...that's right...just 3. However, they were all essay questions. I'm very proud of myself for aceing that exam. It was an American History class that I took, and all the professor did all semester, was talk. Each class is about 2 hours long, and all he did for those 2 hours was lecture. So you had to listen to him very carefully and take notes. I mean he had some visual aids like projections, and he wrote notes on the board every once in a while, but that was it. You really have to work hard and think hard when you're in college.

Not really. I don't really find any exams to be difficult, and I don't even study. The only time I have ever had trouble on a test was a math test, and I just made stupid mistakes. The test wasn't even that hard. So no, I have not really had any difficult exams.
