I like afternoon tests. They allow me to study much more during the day than I study the night before for morning tests. The exception is math, where I make much more careless errors in afternoon tests than mornings. Of course, if your schedule isn't rotation, then it's really about the class itself. What about you? Do you prefer morning or afternoon tests?

I am  no longer in school but when I was I would prefer to take morning tests. The ironic thing is I'm  not a morning person though. I liked to take tests in the mornings for several reasons. First, I felt like after a good nights sleep and studying all evening it was fresh on my mind. Second, I was more relaxed in the morning. For those that do not know I have Autism. Third, I was just more focused.  By afternoon chances are I would be somewhat sensory overloaded, tired, and the material would not have been fresh on my mind.

I would have to say afternoon tests! Morning tests stink because I am usually not awake in the mornings so my memory is kind of joggy so if it's in the afternoons it gives me a boost to actually get a chance to refresh my memory a bit before the test. IF you ever seen me awake in the mornings it's because I didn't go to sleep the night before!

Afternoon tests. I can't focus properly in the morning, so tests in the morning tend to go very poorly for me.
Case in point was when we were given a bit of time before marking a Math test, I originally had it right, but because we were marking it in the morning, I thought it was WRONG and ended up lowering my mark...

To clarify, I'm much more alert in the mornings, but I think too much into the questions and don't have enough time to brush up. I'm more prone to careless mistakes in the afternoon, but I'm more on point when it comes to what the questions ask.

Morning!! One I'm a huge morning person anyways and two I'm usually exhausted by the time my afternoon classes begin so I greatly prefer to get them over with in the morning. That and Ill receive an afternoon test that I took several days before and after reviewing it the only thought in my mind is usually "What in the world was I thinking? That was the stupidest answer I could have written down. How did I even manage to get into the next grade level?!" ...Yeah its pretty bad.
