Did you post and make comments?  No offense but I don't recognize the name and I'm in the boards fairly often.  Chat rooms are okay but posting ideas lets you meet people from all sorts of time zones and around the world.

It is a shame that you have come to this decision, but you should really talk to more people and get to know them, talk to them regularly and make friends with people, if a good friend of yours leaves eventually, rather than mourning, you could just make other friends! It would be a real shame if you left vizzed man, give it another go, talk to people and really put yourself out there and make yourself known, that is the fastest and best way to make a lot of friends.
