It already has a mega evolution and it kind of looks like a giant tuna or a shrimp or something. I wonder what it would look like if it had another evolution, probably like something similar to rayquaza. I am not sure if gamefreak would actually go through with this or not, they might just do it.  I think it would be pretty strong and its best stat would most likely be attack and speed. It would probably have a 600 stat or higher if it evolves from gyarados though which has like a total of 540, so it would be a pretty strong pseudo legendary if it had another evolution. Interesting...

GameFreak could do this, I can say that. It could be cool if they do it. A Gyrados with a fish tail looks so cool.. xD They would probably not make this and for every Pokemon obviously.

Since it already has a mega evolution this will probably never happen.
And even if it did happen it would be way too overpowered
I also have no idea what it would like since magikarp and gyarados are based on the legend of how a weak fish goes up a waterfall and becomes a dragon.
So it turning into something even bigger wouldn't make sense.

I don't see Gyrados gaining another evolution, 2 reasons why I say that, 1. the already stated mega evolution 2. it would go against what Magikarp/Gyrados' background as they are based off of Chinese myth of the karp being able to go up a waterfall and then turning into a dragon.
