Hello, users of this site and/or guests on this page! NintendoFanKimmy here, and this time, I bring you another (or possibly my first) Pokemon speculation/theory thread! Let me start off with a disclaimer: Major spoiler alert! I have recently came up with a theory on two possibly upcoming Pokemon games. Nope, it is not Pokemon Z - but it is another pair of versions I thought of: Pokemon A and Pokemon Z? Okay, everybody, please do not immediately think of this as some cheesy, quickly thought up idea, as it is basically paired versions with the first and last letters of the alphabet, but just hear me out, and please read this whole thing through if you are going to reply. So, in recent days, I have been thinking about the next game or games in the Pokemon franchise. No, I have not been thinking about side series games like Mystery Dungeon or Rumble. But main-series games. Everyone has been anticipating a Pokemon Z. It would only make sense, right? Pokemon X, Pokemon Y, and then Pokemon Z? Yep! My theory correlates to this slightly, but the next game doesn't necessarily have to be a special edition (like Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, Platinum, etc.), right? Right! My guess is that Nintendo will be releasing two paired games by the names of Pokemon A and Pokemon Z eventually! Either pretty soon, or right after a Ruby and Sapphire (or possibly Emerald) remake they might me working on. Either way, I think they are going to release it eventually. I think so because- you know what, guys? I am going to go back to the beginning, when this idea first popped into my head. Maybe X and Y's sequels are going to be just like those of Black and White! Maybe it will not be one special edition, but another pair of versions of the same generation! Also, why would they have to be sequels? Why not prequels? I sure had quite a bit going on in my mind that day. I was bored and had absolutely nothing to do, and that is when I am usually thinking and putting 'pieces of some puzzle' together. This has got to be my greatest idea yet. So, I began to think of the story of Pokemon X and Y in detail, and I have done some more research about it and played the game through myself. My decision to do this was made in order to think of an epic sequel/prequel idea. I thought of the whole story about AZ and Floette, and the war that took place three thousand years prior to the events that took place in Generation Six (X and Y). They didn't go too far into it, and it was a little vague obviously. Why exactly was there a war? What caused it to happen? Who is AZ, and why is he considered a 'king'? Why did his beloved Pokemon, Floette join the war in the first place? How did he manage to build the Ultimate Weapon? They may have done this on purpose, though. Leaving all the questions and big details out. Maybe it is because of this: they want to make a prequel to Pokemon X and Pokemon Y, revolving on the events of 'three thousand years ago', and meeting AZ in his prime! There would, unlike other games, be no evil Team, but a war that was about to break out, and you, some random guy or girl who was alive at that time, had to prevent that from happening and save the world from chaos. Obviously, you would fail, otherwise the events of X and Y wold not occur (at least not the same way). That would be cool, though. Something to look forward to. A bad ending for the first time in Pokemon games history. You failed! Not only that, but both you and your Pokemon die at the climax; AZ turns the 'healing-machine' into the Ultimate Weapon, and launches it into the sky, killing you all. Also, it would be cool if the female protagonist/male protagonist's descendant is Serena/Calem! In X and Y, you would give it your all and not suffer the same fate as your ancestors. Maybe that is why they left out the specific details. If there are any at all, that is. To save it all, and put it into two epic prequels that fueled the events of the future. Letting it all out in this thread makes me feel this idea seem less far-fetched than I had thought it to be, and I do not mean to brag or toot my own horn, but I think it is a rather creative one myself. Perhaps these games, if they are to be made, may feature Lysandre's ancestor, who was apparently no other than the brother of AZ! I am hyped by this not even determined idea already, and I can not wait to see if it is being put into action! Maybe, we will discover why poor AZ was damned with the 'gift' of eternal life. So many unanswered questions... These games would be extraordinary if they existed. Sadly, though, it is only a theory. Thought up in a mere number of days by silly, old me. Imagine it coming to reality, though. Whoa. Wow. I can't wait! I can not wait to see them announce the next main series games! Also, Pokemon A and Pokemon Z... it would make sense. AZ? Get it? Eh? Ha ha . Maybe Xerneas and Yveltal were awake and running free in those games, but when it was time for them to return to their slumber, not to be awoken until three thousand years later when Team Flare was using them, AZ was in the vicinity of Xerneas. Read its PokeDex information. Maybe that's how he ended up with eternal life, after all. Also, including a legendary by the name of Zygarde (which, in case you did not notice, begins with the letter 'Z' OoO *gasp*) sort of gave away the whole idea of a Pokemon Z in the making . That's fine by me, though! I think they did that on purpose. Definitely deliberately. To prepare us! To tell us to 'get ready' . No mentions or hints of a Pokemon A, though, but I think it is in the making as well. Why else would they call him AZ ? Anyway, I mentioned I brewed this up a few days ago. Why had I not posted it then? I was waiting for today. Why today? It is January eighth! Officially one year has passed since the first announcement of X and Y! :'). Hurrah for this new generation of our beloved series! May it continue to go on for the next many years that await and follow! Well, as always thank you for reading (if you actually bothered to read to the end, write 'puppies' at the end of your reply ), and see you guys next time! NintendoFanKimmy, out!
