With the PlayStation 4 and X-Box One available now starting to gain momentum in their claims as to what their next Gen console is capable of? And how long will it be before current Gen consoles are no longer getting new releases? And as long as they are still getting releases ,do we really need the next Gen consoles now or should they of waited a bit longer so they could have a much bigger collection of exclusive games only available to the next generation of gaming rather than a small portion most of which are probably still on pre-order.Persanally will wait not only until prices decrease but fewer to no more new release titles are available. But do you think they are worth paying extra for to see what they can do now or like me will you wait a bit until you think they are really needed.Eithre way with all the promises it's going to be an exciting two or three years ahead to see what the next generation will truly have for us and personally can't wait to see what happens when the full potential of both PlayStation 4 and X-Box One are fully realized.Anywy if you want to share your thoughts and feelings would love to hear them

I honestly think that the X-box One will be better IF you don't need to pay something to play online.
But, PS4 can not play PS3 games which is really stupid. :'(
I'm not an PlayStation/X-Box Fan, So yeah, I'm not really wanting to buy these 2 consoles. :]
I'm more of a Nintendo Fan! xD
But I think if these 2 things appears on the 2 consoles, THEN I would buy it!

It looks like the previous-gen consoles might get more games. They're probably going to be all ports or shovelware for the 360, but I think there may still be a few good original games on PS3. I'm not counting on it, though.

TheToasterTheorist : Whilst I agree and understand what you are saying my main point is that over the coming years a lot of games will be shared on all four systems OK whilst I admit they will probably put some more features on the next Gen consoles to make current ones look not bad but not brilliant either just a case of pushing current Gen consoles limits whilst giving the next Gen consoles a starting point and will we really need the next Gen consoles so much if they are still playable on what people already own for both PS3 or X-Box 360 gamers anyway thanks for commenting

TheJmsGamer : Soon enough there will be a feature where you can play any PSX, PS2 and PS3 (maybe) on a smart TV through cloud, all you need is a Dual Shock controller and I think a PSN account and you'll be ready to go, you don't even need the PS4.

I am more towards the Xbox One myself. It is mainly because of the console exclusives but most of the games run at a higher FPS so it actually shows off the next gen graphics and performs better than some of the current PS4 titles. I wont be surprised if something in the near future will revolutionise the PS4 graphics too.

I guess I don't really see where the expense argument comes in. The consoles themselves are sold at rock-bottom prices as it is. The pricing for the games themselves and the hardware has stayed pretty consistent over the past 20 years or so. I mean a dang Ipad costs like 500+$'s

My issue is that I want GAMES and I want the system to be reliable. I was burned in the last generation when I purchased my 360 because it took like 2 years for them to get a decent library of games I was interested in...as well as the launch issues with the hardware itself.

I already determined before this gen systems came out that I would wait at least a year to determine which system I want to purchase just to see what hardware issues there might be and to see what games are released.

Also, with how great Valves "steam" service is, I'm in no rush to purchase ANOTHER gaming console.

I feel like they need to wait a bit longer for this because people are still playing the xBox 360 and the Playstation 3. Not much people would like to buy it if they release it too early. Bad decision made by Nintendo but It's still kind of a big hit now a days.
