Actually, I do own a Nintendo 2DS and I would definitely recommend purchasing one. First of all, it is less indestructible. Second, i believe the the price is cheaper than the Nintendo 3DS. Finally, the 3D feature is nearly useless, considering it causes the game play to feel greatly difficult and it hurts you eyes, 3D in my opinion is extremely unnecessary. I would buy the Nintendo 2DS.

No, I don't have a 2DS. I see how not folding may help it be stronger, like the iPhone. However, it looks bulky to carry around which I would hate. I don't think it would be worth your money if you already have the 3DS.

   It depends what you want your system to be like. From what I've heard, the 2ds is one of the most comfortable handhelds ever. And it is the cheapest 3ds system. The 3ds xl looks amazing, and feels great, but is much more expensive. The 3d looks better as well, and the battery life is much better. With the 3ds, I think it feels like a DS lite, which for me, was uncomfortable. But, it is the most portable version. The 2ds is a good option, and you have to decide if it's the best choice for you. But if you just want to play 3ds games, I don't see anything wrong with it. Also, I have a 3ds xl if you cared.

The massive amounts of limitations it puts on with its no-fold design (i don't mind the 3D not being there) pretty much is preventing me from ever wanting to get one. I heard it also makes a few technical and other hardware compromises for its price reduction.

No I have heard of the 2DS but I never bought it because the graphics looked terrible in my opinion. I don't think nintendo did a very good job with any of the Wii or DS products honesty.. it just seems to keep going downhill. I wish they would make something that was actually pretty awesome.

2DS are mainly for people that are 7 or under that see 3D. I do not think the 2DS is as good as the 3DS. They are almost the same but the 2DS is in 2D. What is the point of getting a 2DS when you can just get a DS for much cheep? I know you can't play 3DS games in DS though.
