Well like I said are you off school because of that blizzard and all the black ice I am I was on the express way recently and A semi truck almost flipped over and there was like 20 accidents (that is not a joke)

For my town and all surrounding, its not a blizzard, but something close. The temperature is too cold for school, since most kids walk or take the bus, so they canceled school. So, at about 3 degrees with a wind shield that dropped it into the negatives, we're waiting for tomorrow and so far, it looks warmer.

Yes, I get an extra day of break tomorrow due to the blizzard. It was storming last night and this morning there was a few centimeters of snow, so I did feel it, but it wasn't bad. The temperature dropped dramatically over the past two days, from 55° to 15°F today

New York had what I believed to be it's third snow day in 20 years, which means that all public schools were closed on that day. Unfortunately for me, I am in college, so I was still on break. I would have much preferred that the snow day fell on a day where every single school was open so we can all reap the benefits.

I am not 100% sure what I am off for, but we received some sleet and it made the roads icy and slippery so I woke up this morning and found out there was a 2 hour delay first, I went to bed and then I wake up later and find out schools are closed. (This is like the 3rd or 4th day we have had off for sleet!) not that I am complaining, but the one day where it was like 3 degrees out and nothing was on the ground, we ended up getting the next day off because it was too cold. So one way or another, I ended up missing school

There were even some schools that closed a day after the snow had melted since the school bus batteries had died. It wasn't only one school but several in my area. Seems like a severe lack of foresight. Maybe it's because we aren't used to such cold temperatures.
