What Ruined Tour de Vizzed for Me

This is the way I look at it, most of TdV is where people just spam the boards like it's nothing, like seeing everyone on here post plagiarized game reviews and game guides, people posting like 1-10 word posts like every minute, and who knows what else as well, and this is why me and the rest of the Locals+ don't really compete in TdV (Well, except for David though), because we have to take care of all the spammy posts.

And like Leggy, I have only competed in two TdVs (Summer 2013 and Autumn 2013), and even experiencing those two TdVs as a trusted member, it was extremely spammy nonetheless, and now seeing this month's TdV from a Mod's POV, it's a lot to do, in fact, I edited and deleted like twice as many reviews and game guides for plagiarizing than I did in December.

So Bottom line, TdV is going to be spammy because the user wants to get their fame on Vizzed more likely, that's why we Mods dubbed TdV as "Spam-fest".

Kimmy! Don't leave girl!! I love you! Yes when I first started TDV there was a ton of spammers it was terrible. It was hard for me to even keep lead at first because of all the people who spammed stuff. I try to post quality threads and posts and I will look down the list and see somebody who posts a very short reply to my thread or to somebody else's thread. I am very sorry that it ruined your exeprince for TDV.. this is actually my second time comepeting except my last time was when I was 15 and I didn't know any of the rules so I got dqed. I understand the way you feel though it is horrible and you shouldn't have to feel like that. Nobody should. Spam is the worst at the start of TDV but it gets somewhat better towards the end! You are doing a fabulous job so far in this TDV and you should be proud! Keep going strong girl!

I agree with Jordan here, becoming a mod is the main reason why I don't appreciate the TDV much anymore. It plays an important role here on the site (activity), but at the cost of spammers revealing themselves. This month has been strict, much more strict than usual. I am happy for that. I do hope that rule continues, and if it does then we will have much less spammy TDV's.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
