   Considering the musical genre of techno is bland and repetitive as the musical genre of dubstep is exotic and intriguing, I would definitely prefer dubstep much greater than techno any day.

I guess I prefer Dubstep because Dubstep evolved from Big Beat and that genre was pretty good but I stopped liking stuff released after 2005 with one or two exceptions from up to 2009. I always find it amusing when some people get confused between the two especially modern big beat but they are different, actually quite.
As for techno it just seems to be repetitive bleeps and bloobs I have never liked that kind of music!

I used to prefer techno, bur ever since I have listened to Official Solkrieg's fantastic dubstep remix of the original Lavender Town theme, I started getting into dubstep ! It's a wonderful type of music ^^!

Techno. I listened to dubstep and while the combination of sounds are cool, some parts feel repetitive and not like music. 
That being said, my favorite Dubstep is "Innocence" by Nero and my favorite Techno is "Better Off Alone" by Alice Deejay.
